VERDICT is IN!! #1

What's up with Jodi? Why is she still there, and why are the TH's saying she is ....pitching a fit? Not their words, mine.

Well done to Juan Martinez, Esteban Flores, and those jurors who returned the right verdict. I hope the spirit of Travis Alexander haunts Jodi Arias every day until they stick the needle in her arm.

I really hope the jurors will give an interview all together like they do on dateline or 20/20. I would love to see and hear from them all.

Someone zoomed in on JA's face. Her lack of emotion is just.........

Oh and before I forget.

NOW you will hear Juan use Jodi's own words against her at the close of this next phase "I would beg for the DP...." He will close out his closing arguments with that. Mark my words!

What must Jodi's Expert Witnesses be doing right now?

I wonder if this would deter a Witness from putting it all on the line for a Murderer in the future (Unless of course they were hoodwinked and actually believe she was the victim of almost being killed so many times by him - and the other parts of her concocted story)

NG on HLN reporting JA hasn't been transported yet to the county jail & there is a problem. Heated words going on with JA's attorneys.

:banghead:

Arpaio isn't there.

She even said the bus to the jail already left.....

I think her attorneys have finally seen the RAGE.. :stormingmad:

I don't see much difference! I think she knows she is guilty and everything is an act for sympathy. Maybe a few nerves but then it was acting to try to get out if trouble as she always has.

I gotta tell you guys, I have been crying on and off since the verdict, just in relief for the poor family that had to suffer so much. Relief.

I have shown more emotion over a stranger than Jodi has even shown for herself! She's inhuman!!

I was pretty okay during this whole trial. But I broke down when I saw TA family crying when Deanna was on the stand. That really got to me. :(

The ONLY way JA can even hope for an ounce of sympathy from the jurors is to come clean about everything. It won't work but that's her only chance. If she continues her smirking then she is assured of the needle!!

Agree! The jury has spoke loud and clear that they do not believe her and trying to tarnish the victim again will surely inflame them.

The only thing her defense team can possibly focus on is her life pre-Travis. Not that they have anything good there either, but I'm sure they'll make something up ;)

I'm not delighted. I'm grateful. I feel an immense amount of gratitude that the world is as it should be...instead of feeling as though I'm in a waking nightmare. (The Anthony verdict.) Am I delighted? No. A conviction doesn't bring Travis back - it does restore a bit of his character though, the character shredded by the defendant and her team to diminish her culpability, a pattern apparent throughout her life.

A conviction won't stop the pain of all those who loved Travis but ironically, by denigrating and disparaging the victim repeatedly, the defendant caused whole swaths of people to gravitate towards supporting the true victim, the only victim, Travis Victor Alexander, and championing justice on his behalf.

Those same people are now crying, hugging, cheering...or perhaps even demolishing their own 'celebratory' container of Ben & Jerry's Blondie Brownie. ;) (If the verdict had been different it would have been a commiserating container though.)

I can't imagine the family has been able to properly grieve. It's been legal preceedings and chaos and torture and dealing with JA's antics and so much intensity over the last 5 years, I can't see how they've had time or space to go through the 'natural' grieving process, which of course is different for every person.

They still have sentencing and appeals and who knows what else. It's going to be a long process, but I think it's clear they're a very strong, tight family unit and with new friends who understand like KCL, they will be well supported.

I hope their privacy is honored and they are able to sleep and rest and play and rejoice and rely on their faith and smile and laugh. The grief will always be there but they will work through it and they have made it through some of the most difficult events in the last few months and years. Wonderful people, truly.

:seeya: Hey, gauntlet!
Thanks for getting "The List" together for all of us, but I guess we won't be needing it anymore, huh? :woohoo:

Yeah Don't you think they could have decided before I put that together? So selfish of them. :banghead:

You guys were all wondering what JA said to Wilmott when the verdict was read. Well, after reviewing it over and over again, I finally figured it out. It was "define guilty". :floorlaugh:
