Not surprising at all . . . this is classic Jodi. Only a super narcissist would hold an interview like this after a murder one conviction . . . she is so arrogant, narcissistic, manipulative, totally unremorseful and delusional. She only ever, ever thinks of herself - she is completely incapable of thinking of anyone else. She is incapable of owning up to anything or feeling sorrow. She is as evil as they come.
Hopefully the jury will give her what she wants (wink, wink) and puts her to death.
Lol, my uber liberal husband just shook his head in mock disdain and said "who is this blood thirsty woman beside me?! I hardly know you..lol." Lol, I told him that I will go back to my liberal roots wherein I am opposed to the death penalty 99.9% of the time AFTER JA is sentenced to death....until then, I am 100% on board...lol.
Just thinking out loud here, but I wonder if the shouting and disagreement (between Jodi and her DT) that was overheard had to do with granting this interview? Knowing her history with the media, perhaps they weren't happy that she wanted to talk?
I heard another report that they set it up, but who knows what the truth is?
I couldn't agree with you more and I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I think that as much as we may despise the way that they sometimes go about it the Defense actually plays an important part in getting justice for the victim, both by ensuring that the wrong person isn't convicted and my mounting an unappealable defense for the accused. in this case, I think they were painted into a corner by a delusional, lying client who, I am sure dictated how this 'defense' would be mounted. With this defendant truth was never an option.
Regarding Nancy Grace.
Someone criticized her for milking the death of her fiance. What makes her show unique is that she does form a bond with victims. Today she talked about what it must be like to be a mother who loses a son and I cried my eyes out because she's exactly right. All your dreams for them die with your child and the waste of a young life --there is never closure. There is just going on and you hide the times that you still cry because everyone expects you to "move on."
My son died in 1994 and if I were to tell one of my children just what I went through today with the verdict and the wine at noon, and cancelling everything I had to do and then bawling, they get mad and say things like, "You can't dwell in the past...blah, blah, get a gym membership, etc.
Nancy Grace makes me feel like there is one person in the world who is not PC and who says it like it is--she is emotional and even when she is rude, I forgive her because she is expressing my emotions of indignation at the broken legal system, sympathy for the families, and contempt for the murderers and rapists.
The other day she was gone and someone else read the tribute to an American hero. Wow--it was flat and not at all moving as her substitute just read the words. Nancy Grace FEELS like a human being would feel EVEN though she is a smart lawyer.
Sometimes emotions are looked down on--Nancy makes the viewer feel like she is calling the authorities on their BS. Yes, she goes too far and its embarrassing sometimes, but overall, I prefer her --warts and all. I love it when she says, "Beth Karas is in the courtroom--Beth what do you see, tell me everything!"
That's what I would be saying, "Don't leave anything out." Nancy gets the powerless feeling that we victim's families have and she is our advocate. She does make a difference, even if it is primarily emotional.
I LOVE it that those military deaths are honored. THat means so much to those who see other deaths given so much attention while their loved one comes home unnoticed.
JA's twitter page no longer exists it seems! :drumroll:
i am mobile but on the support Travis alexander's family page there is a beautiful pic of Deanna and Naps that was taken recently

DR inmates are allowed two "appliances". Can't imagine a computer would be one of them. Probably a tv and something else...radio/cd player/fan, etc.
It's still there...or at least I found it on my computer. I am reading the crazy comments left by her supporters! :stormingmad:The support Jodie arias is innocent! Website! Packed up and left town.
What happens tomorrow? Does the state present then the defense presents? Then a rebuttal? Or what? Lets get this show on the road!
I can't believe she gave an interview. Shaking my head right now.
I'm sorry if I'm repeating something someone else said - the thread moved too fast. I went to her website to see what they had to say, and boy am I shocked and yet not at the same time. I urge everyone who thinks she's not guilty or should have received a lighter sentence to read the current blog entry. I know she's not the one writing it, but this is who she chooses to convey her thoughts to the world and man o' man is it disgusting. I hope to god it's used against her.
I was just replying to a post by another member. I am not starting rumors.
