Is she wearing her prison pants? Watch the beginning when she is walking.

This is a strategy I think. Are the jury restrictions lifted now? Can they watch the news and read the paper yada yada? If they can, they are going to watch her, meek and mild, yammering away and then being escorted to the psych ward. It may cause them to have a very hard time putting this mousy woman in the chair.

Interesting.

Hope Donovan has enough smarts to not answer her phone now when Jodi calls.

She said she would rather have the death penalty than live her natural life in prison. So life in prison may not be bad for her after all.
She can decline her appeals can't she? Isn't that what McVeigh did? The proof is in the pudding.

Did Jodi call it a manifesto or was that a label the jail or the media gave her rantings? Does anyone know?

She called it a manifesto!

Skye is going to be on Tricia's show.

After hearing the jury's very firm "Yes" when polled individually, I'm pretty convinced they will give her the death penalty. She deserves it, IMO.

I had to listen on the radio, and recall Juror 4 being especially emphatic.

I'm think'n that there is going to be a group interview with the Jury from what #5 said about not yet.. Especially since all 3 booted Jurors were there..

OMG JUAN did SHADY thing??
I'm sorry but kinda funny Troy uses her story to ask if she'd do anything different lol!

Wouldn't it be funny as heck if #5 said she would have voted for manslaughter?

Just heard Jodie's twitter account was shut down.

There was no premeditation on her part-well and I thought she was a relatively bright human being. After 4 months, she didnt absorb the definition of pre meditation and first/second/manslaughter charges?

No they cannot watch media until the whole thing is over, including sentencing. And I don't think they are fooled by her pretend meekness they saw what a snappy B she was on the stand and what she did and that she premeditated it.. They're not dummies!

Shave her head as part of the suicide watch, pleeease. There's some kind of alien under that hair!

Dr. Drew feels sorry for the "borderline Jodi."Sigh. There should be a psychiatrist or psychologist on that show instead of an internist. If he worked in the psych field and actually worked with Axis II every day he'd be feeling more sorry for the ppl they have in their lives.

Please tell me I didn't read that one of the juror's husband spoke to the media?
The admonition is to speak to nobody about the case, and if she did what possible repercussions could this have??

That was the juror who was let go first. They are both free to talk.

So very happy for the Alexander family. Also so thankful and just totally in awe of Juan. He WAS and still IS the voice of Travis and will continue to fight to get final justice for Travis and all who love him.

Jodi's journal entry from 05/08/2013:

Nothing really noteworthy happened today. I did get my pork rinds though, so that was good.

hln showing clips of police interviews....she said that if the person who did the murder got away with it... "they would be sitting pretty". I really think she was talking about herself. "Happy" to get away with murder. She is a psychopath, who talks or thinks in those words?

Not aware of any law that says a convicted criminal can't give an interview. In fact I've seen many, many interviews from people behind bars.

Yes but I was under the impression that it all had to be agreed on by the prison warden. And I'm sure the warden would have the ultimate yes or no say? So who gave the approval for this interview? I can't believe that the prisoners are the ones calling the shots about when they can do interviews.

I went to Starbucks and got a frap in honor of Travis.

Respectfully Snipped. I did the same thing! And to make the justice even more sweet, Fraps were half off today!
