I do believe that Justice for Travis and his family is critical.

However, what we know of Jodi and Travis's relationship is only fragmented - and seen through the eyes of witnesses and emails years after it happened.

If I discovered that one of my son's was sleeping with an ex girlfriend, calling her names, talking nasty behind her back - while openly out there looking for a wife... well, look out kiddo - cause momma's comin and she's angry as a hornet.

That's just no way to behave. It's not worth killing over, or dying for - certainly. But when two people so completely twist a relationship into something really ugly - it can happen.

As for Sociopath - well, a number of psychologists examined her. There were 2 different diagnosis. Sociopathic personality wasn't one of them. And I believe the DMI includes that diagnosis.

I thought that was particularly noticeable too. He was standing right over her appearing as if he was trying to get her moving, the MIT specialist finishes with her then Jodi pours herself some water.

She seemed even more defiant than usual. Maybe she realized the next time she's in that room her fate is sealed. MOO

BBM: I love that you used the word DEFIANT! That so epitomizes everything about her demeanor. How she treated her parents. Quitting school in the 11th grade. Quits her jobs when they interfere with her personal life. Refusing to leave Sky's home when asked to leave. Going out and buying a gun when she knows she's already in deep doo-doo for using a gun. I could go on and on, but that DEFIANCE showed up so blatantly on the witness stand when Juan crossed her. The jurors would have to have been deaf, dumb, and blind to not see it. I hope any idea of mercy for her was eradicated then and there. :stormingmad:

I did not know there was a thread. Thanks. I have mainly been here on this thread wanting to see justice through to the end for Travis. Kim's proceedings are slow going at this point. Waiting out her justice will be my main venture after this one.

Perhaps we can follow the thread together when things are moving along. I definitely will check on it occasionally until then.

On the interrogation video with Flores from the day of her arrest one of the moments or statements that I'll never forget is where Flores is pleading with her, if you will, to come clean for the sake of Travis' innocent siblings that he left behind.. Saying that it is Jodi who can give them the peace and solace in at least knowing the what, how, and why their beloved brother had been killed.. He was telling Jodi that it was she, alone who could grant this family that peace in her coming clean with what and why she killed Travis..

First thing I sadly realized was that this strategic move on the part of Flores to play on Jodi's conscience and sympathies was all for nothing..as in I just knew that this sadly was having an opposite, very different effect than what Flores was intending.. IMO in his not yet knowing the true depths of sociopathy/psychopathy that was at play wrt Jodi he didn't understand that this individual was not only vacantly void of this feeling/emotion, or anything even resembling empathy or sympathy..but in fact this strategic tactic by Flores IMO gave Jodi an even greater sense of power and control..a sense of power and control that she at that very moment in time was very desperately trying to find and cling onto due to the fact that literally every other aspect of her life had been taken away from her control in being arrested and taken into custody, booked for murder 1...

Imo Flores' attempts at garnering the truth via playing on an individuals conscience, remorse, and sympathies for those innocent loved one's left behind of the victim, Travis.. This backfired in it IMO fueling Jodi's desperate need for control over ANYTHING...and in that moment In time of all areas imaginable that Jodi would desperately want power or control over..well, what could be better than the tremendous power and control she suddenly realizes that she has over Travis' family in holding ALL OF THE ANSWERS FOR WHICH THEY ALL SO VERY DESPERATELY SEEK!!

THIS IMO IN THAT VERY MOMENT IN TIME THAT IS RECORDED, DOCUMENTING JODI'S ACTIONS/BEHAVIORS UPON HAVING ALL POWER/CONTROL OF HERSELF AND HER LIFE COMPLETELY STRIPPED OF HER BY BEING ARRESTED AND INCARCERATED.. SUDDENLY IMO WITHIN A BLINK OF AN EYE JODI HAS NEW FOUND REASON AND MOTIVATION TO MANIPULATE AND USE FOR HER BENEFIT, ENJOYMENT, AND EVEN AMUSEMENT THE POWER/CONTROL SHE REALIZES THAT SHE POSSESSES OVER WHO BETTER THAN THE VERY PEOPLE WHOM TRAVIS ALEXANDER LOVED AND CARED FOR THE VERY MOST, HIS SIBLINGS!

IMO I truly picked up on and could clearly see the wheels turning within her psychopathic mind upon realizing this through Flores' attempting to garner truth from her via her conscience, remorse, empathy, etc.. IMO this was only further cemented by the female detective that spent hours with Arias attempting to also play on Jodi's conscience, remorse, empathy, etc to garner the truth.. Repeating time after time, across that small table, while looking Arias eye to eye, over and over reminding and IMO only further reinforcing Jodi's control that she had over those who Travis' loved the most.. Repeatedly telling Jodi only she has the ability to offer this family the relief, the reprieve from the agonizing pain over what and why their brother was killed.. IMO Jodi's mind literally churning away at what all she could possibly manipulate and use to her benefit, or even just her amusement in causing and/or inflicting further or continued pain to Travis via those he loved the most, his siblings....

For me this was very much what was going on in her head wrt both Flores and the female detective attempting to get the truth from Jodi by using conscience, remorse, empathy, etc, et.. In their telling her that it is she, and she alone who has the ability to offer this tremendous relief and reprieve to Travis' innocent loved ones... and then pleading with her for the sake of those innocent loved ones of Travis to come clean with what and why their brother was killed.. Imo little did either detective know that not only was this tactic falling on deaf ears as far as it resonating in a meaningful way wrt Jodi's conscience.. But they had not yet a clue just how evil, hollow, vacant, and soulless this individual was that they were talking and pleading with as tho, she had a heart, soul, or conscience.. She didn't..she doesn't and IMO the detectives literally were speaking what was beautiful music to the ears of this sociopathic monster who was in desperate, desperate need of something...anything to grab and cling onto ..to control and have power over with every ounce of power and control having been just taken from her in being arrested, booked, and incarcerated for murder 1..

IMO that music to her ears was the knowledge and sudden realization that who better to have such mighty power and control over than those who Travis' loved the very most in this life..IMO that realization occurred right before our very eyes in those interrogation videos.. IMO its as obvious just as much as its despicable evil that oozes from every pore of Jodi Arias' body.. IMO as long as she lives and is able to draw breath she will continue to hurt and cause pain to anyone who dares to love that which she so desperately attempted to destroy, Travis.. I, PERSONALLY want her life permanently extinguished from this world so that she may no longer continue to cause that hurt and pain to anyone, anywhere, at anytime, ever!

It is rare to see someone who lies as regularly & normally as she breathes. But that's Falsity. An unusual aspect in her own horoscope facilitates that. She was born with Mercury in Cancer and with the Moon in Gemini. They belong in each other's Sign (since Mercury rules Gemini and the Moon rules Cancer). That mean they can trade places at will. Thanks for your input! As always, your heart is in the right place. Take it from some one who knows. I have walked in the Alexanders shoes. My brother & his wife were brutally murdered by her uncle. You can bet your bottom dollar that JM discussed this deal with the family & they refused. The DA has to keep them informed of ALL offers. We offered Berry Hall LWOP to avoid a lengthy trial & he refused. We as a family, didn't want the DP, because his family had lost a family member as well also. They were murdered in 2008 and we finally got justice in 2012. On the way home from the sentencing we saw a double rainbow. That's all I needed to see, to know that Alan & Lisa were thanking us. Thanks again for your insight & wonderful posts.

My brother's killer only received 25yrs w/o parole. Not enough for me!

My avatar is in memory of Tori Stafford - a little girl who was brutally murdered and raped in a sad, horrific crime that was badly handled. In the end, justice was done (as far as it could be on this earth).

Yes - I would defend someone being abused. Always. Mostly, I believe in justice - for everyone.

Part of that justice means fairness to the accused. As hard as that can be sometimes.

No - Travis doesn't deserve to have his memory abused. But he wasn't a perfect man (is there such a thing?) - and the details of his relationship with Jodi are part of justice because they are part of the truth.

Attributing false statements to what happened in order to rile up anger against his murderer is, to my mind, the opposite of justice.

I don't know what false statements you are referring to, but just the evidence shown in the courtroom far exceeds what I would need to find her guilty of M1.
