BBM~I thought the DT called Mimi Hall as a witness?

The jurors do not know that Travis was "amazing". The have not been watching TV or listening to Chris or Sky Hughes' interviews. As far as the jurors know he had sex with Deanna Reid. That is ONE woman, not "women".
IMO, JM should not have called Mimi Hall to the witness stand to testify about Mormon "sins". That is where conservative sexuality came into play. IMO

There is an interesting gentlemen on JVM on HLN that said he was on a murder one case and is talking about their hold out juror. Anyone else watching him.

He said the lady who was the hold out demanded to see every piece of evidence.

wtf!!! He must be on another case. Jurors are not allowed to talk to the media!

My husband just came in the kitchen to tell me that some man on HLN said that there was a woman hold out the jury...and that was why there wasn't a verdict reached yet.


This is why I drink.

He was listening to Jean on HLN!

I can see where the 12 year old comment was unsettling. I really do get that. But I think it comes down to how you process humor. Hear me out... we've all heard stories how Travis was a goofy, funny guy. Not everybody has that same type of humor. No offense to anybody here. But I think we've all had situations in life where we find something off-colored to be hilarious, and a friend finds it totally offensive or crude.

Some people like Howard Stern (me included), some think he is disgusting. What I know of him, he's a decent guy. Just likes perverted humor.

Just because you get a kick out of crude humor, doesn't make you a bad person or necessarily imply that you are doing something wrong.

I equate the 12 year old comment to a joke.. similar to making cougar jokes. My friends and I at times have joked about the hotness of cute high school aged guys on TV shows... Team Edward. He's 17.

If there were any other credible indications that Travis was in to kids, believe me... I would be the first person to despise him. There is just no proof of it at all. Just my two cents.

Several years ago I found a website on the history of our family room computer that ended up being for a site with "schoolgirls" having sex with grown men. There were disclaimers all over the site that all of the participants were over 18 but the girl I saw did not look remotely close. She had on a skimpy school uniform (briefly) and pigtails. I knew that my 7th grade son had to be the culprit and when questioned he admitted that he had gotten the website name (very innocent sounding) from some 8th grade boys at baseball practice. There would not have been a website like this if there were not a market for it. As disgusting as the school girl fantasy is to those of us with daughters, it does not fall into the range of sexual deviancy or make a man a pedo.

Where is that quote from (I love it!). Is it from opening or closing arguments? Juan has been such a voice for Travis. No wonder we're "Juanderstruck". He summed it all up in one sentence.

He said it during closing and I was in tears as I am now. It was such a powerful statement. I believe it was at the beginning of his closing IIRC.

This jury is going way overboard deliberating this case...

There is an overwhelming amount of evidence for premeditation...

There is zero evidence that could benefit Jodi...

The jury asked a lot of questions, so they are probably just being uber cautious...

Or it could be one or two dumbasses holding everything up...

What worries me is the age of some of the jurors. That some might not be "hip" enough to understand the defense sex BS.
