People should really have faith in their deliberations!

They have always presented taking their job seriously, this is an important part of their job, please be patient people.

someone on this thread can answer. DL Nurmi used the length of time that JA was at Travis' house, on the day of the murder, as an argument against premeditation. Is there anything in evidence to support the duration of JA's visit other than JA?

Not until the timestamped pictures which I think were stamped starting around 1:45pm.

Especially by the defense. The defense will be waiting and hoping one of the jurors make a mistake so they can cry mistrial.

I love Beth, and used to tolerate Jean without any problem. As time has passed, hln has become more sensationalist than ever before. It actually saddens me a bit to see people I respected (generally) be swayed by the network. I put up with it, to watch the trial coverage every day. Their new format has lost me..I can't stand it. After this verdict it will be internet for me! I don't care if I have to wear a backpack and earbud around the house!

It's too bad we can't go back to the old 'Court TV' format, without all the hype, silliness, and hollering.

Yes but that wouldn't be CNN format would it. Brash, loud, everyone shouts instead of speaking, "YOU WILL NOT MISS ONE MINUTE....", sensational reporting etc. thank goodness for Beth Karas, matter-of-fact, straight forward, factual, neutral and very trustworthy.

Nope. She seemed to know what TA had been watching on his computer and we know that the computer was on and being used at about 4 am in the morning but, who knows, she could have done a few backspaces at 4 pm in the afternoon the next day and seen where he had been surfing.

I'm sorry! I thought they were sort of going day to day with the schedule. I hadn't head they set the times for this week last Friday.

All I said was that as the mother of a little girl that age, I was very disturbed by that comment and if a friend or acquaintance made a comment similar to that in my presence, I would absolutely not allow them around my daughter.

I have read on dozens upon dozens of threads in this very forum cases where a parent had a friend who said similar things, only the parent's ignored it as "no big deal". And when the unthinkable happened, every poster on these boards blamed the parent for allowing an "obvious pervert" access to their child!!!!

I never said Travis was a pedophile and I do not believe that. What I said was that in this day and age, after all of the heartbreaking cases I have read on this very forum, I would be very alarmed by anyone making a statement like that.

It is my right as a parent, in fact my RESPONSIBILITY as a parent to protect my child from anything that raises my hackles.

I choose to err on the side of caution when it comes to my child's safety and I do not deserved to be attacked for that.

Never once have I blamed or sullied this victim. I made a very true and very heartfelt comment about my parental instincts regarding the "12-year-old girl" remark. I was respectful and honest in my post and stand by my feelings regarding it.

I am sorry you interpreted my protectiveness as an attack on Travis.

I think as a mother, and in all fairness to the actual truth, I would have to ask my 28 YEAR OLD ADULT DAUGHTER if she possibly egged this on.

I would ask her had she ever told this man in sexual conversations that she wanted to be a 'dirty little school girl' and even dress up as one. If she said she had.. like Arias did.. then I would think perhaps it was she who put this in the mind of the man she talked trash with.

Frankly in February 2008 before the recorded sex tape she was telling him she wanted to be a dirty school girl. Arias trashed talk about bjs and wanting spankings. She isn't some naïve little waif. She is a very sexually experienced woman who uses sex and sex talk as a tool trying to control the man she wants.

In the May 10, 2008 conversation with Travis I think he told her what he knew turned her on.

I have limited my trial viewing to WAT since the beginning, I DID watch the entire interrogation videos, but other than a.) more manipulation b.) lies........I didn't put any more into it than what the jury saw. I have seen the bits and pieces not shown to the jury, but have really just held on to the trial testimony and evidence.
I don't watch HLN, and have only had to hear it in the background when BF is watching it.
That being said, you have 12 human beings in a room, going over tons of evidence, pictures, notes, etc. 20 pages of jury instructions.
They may already have their verdict but are making sure that their decision is right with the evidence. IDK....
It's frustrating, but it is what it is.
I hope they come to a verdict tomorrow.........

OT: Today, I scheduled to have our old gray mare put down on Friday, she's been in an extreme amount of pain and I couldn't put it off. So I'm not in the best of shape.

I agree, all you need is a DL for jury duty.

Here you don't need a DL. You have to be a resident, a US citizen, and over 18. If you desire (not mandatory), you may request an age exemption if over 70 years of age.

After spending a few weeks on jury duty- I warned my friends and children that these folks were definitely not their peers- and to pick a bench trial if ever in that position.

My husband even gave an eye roll when JC made the comment and visuals about the juror(s) she saw. She says she thinks because of this there is dissension. More likely, the juror is just plain tired for pete's sake.

We've been able to dissect and discuss this case for months; the jury was just recently allowed to sit together as a group and get to know each other and this case as a group. I'm not surprised there isn't a verdict yet. IMO, Friday didn't even count so with yesterday and today, they are two days in with an immense amount of information that they may all just want to draw a sharp line through on their list. We had the benefit of watching, re-watching and discussing and re-discussing everything that has happened. They couldn't do that in "real time" and I'm very confident that they will have the verdict before this week is over.

NG just gave that one D attorney (who looks like Eddie Munster) a piece of her mind after he told her to not worry about her manicure.
