Wait, Jimmy just went to Florida to buy souvenirs?

Happening now - the rewriting of reality. No evidence, it's just what Taylor and CWW said, but there's no evidence the State can point to that JRR was part of the homicide.

Sorry guy, we're not stupid.

FYI - Please don't get worked up by this attorney asking for an Order for Acquittal. Simply a formality to put on the record. Will never be granted.

Look at it on the bright side - if the defense didn't do this, JR would be screaming ineffective counsel because they should have asked the Court for this before sending case to jury.

This is a peek into what their closing argument will look like.
Thank you for explaining all of this.

He's better than the Fitz. If I didn't know better I might buy what he's selling.

Exactly. As Beach said, it's a little sneak peek at the defense's closing statement. HH is probably taking notes of every argument and working on how to counter attack it.

Defense is saying the self-proclaimed "Jimmy the Hammer" didn't use the hammer that time.

Casey Anthony had about 8-10 on her team. I think there were 5-6 at trial.

But didn't they CHOOSE to work on her team... NOT from PD office? Supposed to be paid privately? Are any of JR's being paid privately?

These arguments for acquittal are interesting.
they are done at every single trial I've watched (and I've watched lots of trials), but I've never seen them be so extensive. Usually it's a quick argument, the judge says no and that's that.

Same! The State came prepared.

IDK who this attorney is arguing for this Motion for Judgment of Acquittal is but they should have him do closing arguments. He is MUCH better than Fitzgeorge. Very passionate.
