CWW will probably be tomorrow am. I don't they think they transport this late in the day from jail.

O'MAMA I suddenly got an image of CWW being rolled into the courtroom on a furniture dolly....with lots of extra security.
(He will be heavily guarded, up and until the moment he sits his honey buns in that witness chair.)
Ugh, this is so exhausting...sometimes I can't figure out the point the defense is trying to make. I'm just watching (with no distractions at all) and I can't understand half the questions! But, I will always remember the cutest thing....somebody saying objection, somebody saying over-ruled...And Taylor asking, "Is it ok for me to talk?" I am so with that girl's mindset...I never know what over-ruled or sustained means!

   The state says they are hoping to be done with their witnesses by mid-day Friday, Assistant State Attorney Hamid Hunter said.

If the state does finish presenting their case Friday afternoon, the defense may use the rest of the day to prepare before they start presenting their case.

IMO, CWW will be their in person unless for safety and cost reasons hinder that. He might appear from his jail location. If state is set to wrap up midday Friday then Mr CWW will be there tomorrow! They will question him a lot. Remember he given a sweet deal

That's what I figured...CWW will be there tomorrow, most likely. That must have been what they were discussing. Audio often bad, so in person. I think that's why the Judge said he wanted to insure it was ready to go smooth because he didn't want to get jurors there only to start late.

I really want to catch the CWW testimony.

*Trial Continues (Day 6) (@ 8:30am ET) - FL – Dr. Teresa Ann Grace Sievers (46) (June 29, 2015, Bonita Springs) - *Jimmy Ray Rodgers (28) arrested & charged (2/23/16) & arraigned (5/5/16) with 1st degree premeditated murder with a weapon, conspiracy to commit 1st degree premeditated murder & burglary. Plead not guilty. No bond. DA will seek DP.
Trial began on 10/10/19. Trial expected to last 4 to 5 weeks. Jury: 5 men & 7 women, 2 alternates: 1 man & 1 woman.

10/16/19 Day 5: Judge is on the bench. Defense raising concern about additional 70 pages of discovery sent from the state at 10:47 p.m. last night related to the Garmin GPS unit. State says the data is still the same, but the digital forensic expert preparing for trial created this document. The expert wants to use them for reference today. Defense having expert review now. Defense attorney Darrow is asking for a few hours to have his expert look at the data. Going to start with some witnesses that aren't related to this new discovery it looks like. The jury not in the courtroom. The defense & prosecution are discussing special instructions that may be read to the jury before they are shown certain evidence today. Jury is in. State witnesses: Jason Duvall (6-Mile Cypress Parkway Wal Mart employee; helped investigators recover surveillance video from the store). Commander Matthew Sands (Lee County Sheriff's Office; commander over the criminal investigations bureau. In June 2015, he was a lieutenant in the major crimes bureau assigned to the homicide unit). Jennifer Kircikyan (In 2015 was with the digital forensics unit with the Lee County Sheriff's Office). Deputy Matthew Deshazo (a digital forensic examiner with the Lee County Sheriff's Office). The jury watched a surveillance video of two men walking around Walmart. The jury watched a surveillance video of the outside of a Shell gas station. Lunch. Taylor Shomaker (was Rodgers' live-in girlfriend during the investigation). Michael Lacombe (Lee County Sheriff’s Office; a digital forensic specialist & he examined cellphones & computers or anything that contains digital data. Worked to recover data from Garmin GPS). Trial continues tomorrow 10/17 at 9am. The state says they are hoping to be done with their witnesses by mid-day Friday, and Defense just said their case will last approx. 2 days.
*Mark D. Sievers (50) – Trial tentatively scheduled for 11/12.
*Curtis Wayne Wright, Jr. (41) arrested (10/14/15) & charged (10/20/15) & indicted (5/5/16) with 2nd degree premeditated murder. Plead not guilty. No bond. Took plea deal (2/26/16) plead guilty to 2nd degree murder; serving 25 years, waives all rights to appeal. Will testify at trials. Sentencing on 12/2.

Shomaker didn't remember much about whether #JimmyRodgers told her he was going to Florida to make money. She did remember pillow talk where she asked him if he was involved in #DrTeresaSievers murder. She says he admitted to killing the doctor with a hammer.

Prosecutor Cynthia Ross addressed a credibility issue with Shomaker's testimony on direct. Shomaker contacted a Lee County Sheriff's Office detective in 2016 about needing financial help. After that, she began receiving checks for $400 monthly.

ON CROSS: #JimmyRodgers’ former girlfriend says he was a very good father and provider. He brought her gifts from the Florida trip, shirts, shot glasses & a plaque about the kids. Also in 2015 deposition, she told authorities she didn’t recall if he had a hammer nickname.

Assistant Public Defender Kathleen Fitzgeorge also brought up the media interviews Taylor Shomaker has given since the murder. A docu-series production company paid for her and her current husband to fly to California for an interview. Crew from that company is at the trial.
