I followed that case closely several years ago. Wanted to watch but trial was overlapping with this one. Watched a few witnesses on Law & Crime...or was it Court TV? Can't recall now... Have they rendered a verdict??

One of the hit men, Luis Rivera, pleaded guilty and testified against the other hit man, Sigfredo Garcia. SG was found guilty and sentenced to life. SG was also tried with his exGF/baby mama, Katie Magbanua, who was the conduit between the killers and the Adelson family, but the jury was hung, we think 9-3. At 10:30 this morning her retrial will be scheduled.

Actually, it was Rivera's testimony that I did watch. Not live, but on recorded.

Two alternate jurors are being released for the time being. If Rodgers is found guilty, they will be asked to return for the penalty phase of the trial.

The judge notifies the two jurors on the panel who were serving as alternates. They are released but the judge asks them to continue to not talk about the case as they may be called back for the penalty phase if Rodgers is found guilty of first-degree murder @winknews

At about a quarter after 10, the jury now begins deliberations in the case against Jimmy Rodgers. Defense and state now discussing which evidence like the blue jumpsuits and other clothing should be sent back with the jury now. @winknews

Out of one side of their mouths are saying the reason he wanted her killed is because she was leaving him and taking the kids. Out of the other side of their mouth they are saying she is worth more alive than dead.

Sounds mutually exclusive as if she leaves him, he doesn't get any of her money anymore, and would be out of a job.

“No reason to kill her” said my daughter, upon calling me that morning they found TS after I said her husband probably arranged her death. “But her practice was a family business, he ran the business part of the office. That’s their family income.”. How convenient to still be in NY while TS goes home to see her scheduled patients for that Monday. And after all, what would they do without her there if something happened?! No more medical practice & Mark has the kids to care for now without their mother and the business that supported them all. Wasn’t too long before her life insurance was revealed. BINGO

The jurors are asking for all Taylor Shomaker's statements to law enforcement or transcripts from her testimony in court. The judge said he cannot give them her statements to law enforcement, but could have the court reporter read her testimony back in court.
