I finally read the secret testimony. Same drivel, never taking responsibility for anything she's done wrong in relationships or any interactions. I'd say, though, at least a few of her exes are in fear she'll be released or escape at some point and come for them.

My guess about the bed sheets? Travis probably thought she left, which is how she was able to attack him like that. She took him completely by surprise. Naps the dog didn't bark because Jodi Arias wasn't a stranger and hadn't actually left. She told Travis she was leaving, Travis probably walked her out, puts the bed sheets and Temple garments to wash, she sneaks back in, locks the dog up , goes back up to the bathroom. Then she grabs everything bloody and the camera and washes it and leaves. She probably thought she destroyed the camera.

Those shower photos look like the stall door was open. I think he was aware she was taking photos. At 5:27:18 he turns and looks surprised/shocked. I think this is when he saw the gun. At 5:26:56 his upper torso from the back is being photographed. He turns at 5:27:18 and opens his mouth in what looks like he sees something other than just jodi and her camera.

I thought temple garments had to be washed on their own without other items, ie bed sheets, which meant that Jodi put the sheets in there herself.

I remember the dryer had the sheets & bedding. The washer had socks, temple garments, Travis sweat pants, bloody towel, camera. I will look for link of first trial where a lady was testifying to what was in washer. She held up the towel.

Up to a point, perhaps, but MDLR went up to that point, revved her engine, and blew past it, honking her horn.

So, McGoo by affadivit, even, though everyone on the DT knew he was lying. But NOT teaming up with the lunatics to arrange 3way phone calls, "art" sales, the solicitation of other liars to testify in secret, etc.

When she did all that MDLR may not have violated the law- guess not if her contract was renewed, but her profession is social work. As in, help the disturbed to cope with reality, NOT feed their mental illness.

If the State of AZ won't sanction her perhaps watchdogs in her profession will. Not holding my breath.

When they found the gun and knives I wondered if she was headed for Daryl's house. If he had the DVD player from her Grandparents "robbery", that would have sealed the deal with the jury. I think she was also headed to Deanne, the Hughes and Mimi/Liz for a little revenge. She definitely had someone in mind when she packed those weapons!

One of the crime scene investigators said the door was either open or off and the memory card was found in the bottom of the washer, and took a pic of it on the washer:

And yes, Melendez testified that when he got the camera it was put back together with the stick inside it.

Yes...all those oversized evidence bags...crumpling into the microphone as they were being unsealed and displayed. I'll have to rewatch.

They met in Sept '06. She glommed onto him right away. Calling, texting and making demands that they meet. Of course, in JodiWorld, it was HIM doing all the pursuing. I guess maybe because he responded to her calls and texts? By October, they were having motel trysts. She was still living in the home shared with Darryl. No mention in the secret testimony of the side pieces (ie Gus Whatever). Jodi needed a new mark. One 'date' as a seat filler +1 and Travis was it. He ignored her calls for a week in Oct '06 and she refused to get the message. He could have nipped it in the bud at that point. Jodi was relentless demanding explanations. Of course, she tempered it with the soft spoken little girl voice and the guise of wanting to discuss Mormon tenets.

The secret testimony ends there. The timeline gets murky and there was no time to clarify.

Anyone know when Jodi slept under the Christmas tree? '06 or '07?

And also... if Travis were to have put the sheets in the washer, that would mean Jodi intentionally put the camera in the washing machine and, as many have speculated, she meant to take the camera with her when she left. But your post, Tiger09, made me think of something... does anyone know what color the sheets in the washer were? White or pink? I have a quick follow-up, but will first wait to I hear what color the sheets were. As always, "TIA" in advance.

I am confused as to what role Maria De La Rosa was supposed to have played in the Arias trial. Why was she there everyday playing friend and companion to Arias? In the job description of a mitigation specialist it seems that it's to observe and make reports. What am I missing?

I can't imagine a camera being damaged like that if there were also king size sheets in there.

do any of you believe that jodi still thinks she is going free?

ive been thinking about it and you know,i just get the feeling that she still thinks shes going to walk out of that court and not go to prision.

i just don't think she gets the gravity of the whole situation,guess im hoping when the verdict is given she has a total meltdown :shrug:

Ever heard of Velma Garfield? She received the DP after killing her mother(poison), her husband (burned him alive), a boyfriend (poison), and after attempting to kill her own daughter (poison). She was the first woman in the US to die by lethal injection.

I read a rather terribly written book about her trial through the time she was executed. She greatly enjoyed her trial, especially all the publicity it generated. Throughout, she was more interested in how she looked than what was being said in court. She showed no remorse whatsoever, and lied as easily and as often as she drew in breath.

When the DP verdict was handed down she appeared completed unconcerned, as might be expected of someone who was entirely convinced she'd be freed on appeals.

Her certainty she'd be free never wavered, even after appeal after appeal was denied. Several of her children remained loyal to her (!). Their lives were completed destroyed by the limbo of that endless appeals process.

At the end, Velma had one last choice--to allow her attorneys to ask for clemency (with zero chance of success) or to accept her fate. Her adult children begged her to accept that fate, telling her that they literally could not survive another postponement of the inevitable. She hugged them, told them she understood, and that she wouldn't fight anymore, for their sakes.

Right after the children left from this visit Vera called her attorneys and instructed them to fight on. She actually smiled and shrugged when she learned that clemency was denied. Ah well.

Needless to say...I don't believe anyone will ever get the satisfaction of seeing JA upset by what happens to her next.
