My point being, he is not exactly suffering and lonely. She could have married him if the license weren't expired then, yes? It's really besides the point.

No she couldn't because he was in solitary at the time. He doesn't want to marry her now because she wants to put his dead body on display like Lenin's Tomb.

Interesting....also a certain set of instructions ...

It sounds ljke maybe they are concerned that juror did not pay attention and doesn't understand something. Maybe just flaky. They want her to switch with someone who took a lot of notes and are asking for specific instructions as well.

Jen reported that one of the jurors kept her head down a lot and seemed to have little ticks. Was always picking at her nails and messing with her fingers and hair and it was a little odd. Wonder if it's her...

AZLawyer says JA is likely kept at Estrella.

I'm just guessing though, based on the waste of time and manpower to transport her every day for what might take weeks.

I know the jury decided they would not work Friday but IF they wanted to, could they? Sorry if that has already been asked.

Yes.

Do you think the juries are confused, maybe confused isn't the correct word, but-they a given & reviewed by def. a "list' of mitigators. There is no such 'visible' list given to them of aggravators. They have to find the aggravators within testimony & evidence. Each juror might think of different things as aggravators, or miss some. Because of this, how will they decide that aggravators outweigh the mitigators? It's something I wondered last trial. Hope my question makes sense. Thanks.

They are told the aggravator: cruelty. It is the only aggravator. They are not allowed to consider anything else as an aggravating circumstance. But they will anyway IMO.

I've been trying to figure out what BBM means. Google says "Blackberry Messaging." Can someone enlighten me? TIA!

BBM= bolded by me. People will often bold a portion of the post they're quoting that they want to comment on specifically. It lets people know that you highlighted that part, not the original author.

:scared: they want to switch with juror 2? WTF?! :scared:

Thank you for the warm welcomes! For now I prefer just lurking and having fun at hitting the Thanks button :) In time I will post. I may not always agree with every post, but it makes me think.

Same thing happened with Scott Peterson. He got death.

Maybe they want to switch her out for a juror who will agree with them on death?

  • #373
Oh goodness, why does it have to get crazy at this point?

I think this will cause their long dreamed of mistrial. Requesting off so early on in deliberations may be workable, but asking for a specific alternate???? No way...it shows some sort of "collusion."

I share your point of view.
But actually I'm afraid I'm still very ignorant.
What I did understand:
The verdict will most probably be DP or LWOP.
LWOP would mean that JA would be out of prison after 25 years.
I'm anti DP but if this is correct, LWOP for JA in my eyes would be a severely unresponsable verdict.
Isn't there a simple sentence of LIFE?

TIA

Hi, The jury has two choices Let her Live or Give her the Death Penalty. If they give her Life the Judge then decides whether she gets LWP=Life with parole after 25 years or LWOP=Life Without Parole. I suspect the Judge will give her Life Without Parole because after the circus of these trials, the Judge knows how dangerous she is being that she stabbed 29 times, slit throat and shot TA in the head! That's my feeling anyway.

Maybe one of them is ill, and is requesting #2 takes her place instead of #13... could be as simple as that

I think in Europe Life is only 25 years. Please correct if wrong, but that might be where the confusion lie.

A peek inside the jury room this morning:

'Hands up who thinks:
1. Possibly watching a little adult 🤬🤬🤬🤬 warrants slaughter?
2. A shrinking violet would send a coded message for a witness to change their story?
3. A possible spanking with a wooden spoon creates a psychopath?
4. Not answering a Good Morning is more biased than calling another expert 'asinine'?
5. A mass business email is proof of pedophilia?
6. This is darned good chilli?'

Unbelievable

  • #379
Is it wrong that one of the questions I want answered is what did you make with the crock pot?

Yes, it is very wrong. My guess is that it's chili, but if I was there, I wish it would a crockpot oozing butter on top and full of gooey mmmm'y cheese something or other. (I'm a foodie...)

What kind of woman would even want to marry Manson. Gives me shivers.
She's crazy too. Came from a strict religious background and rebelled.
