I think it depends on the state and budget cuts.

I thought prisons in the US had done away with that last meal thing. :dunno:

I have been vaping for over 2 years now and basically quit smoking overnight. Hopefully he got you a good one though because if you start off with the wrong equiptment you can have a not so great first experience which I have seen send too many right back to analogs.

Same here, it's the best thing in the world, me and bubba quit overnight and only now use the e-cig when socialising with smokers ... it's the best invention in the world. We bought the ones that look like ciggies, and chose a brand where you can choose your nicotine levels.

No, there's still the last meal. There are even websites to see what people ordered.

I have seen lifers who adapted so well to prison they did not want out. It was a safe and comfortable life for them...just sayin'

Well, they are exactly where they should be then. They couldn't make it in mainstream society so if they adapt in prison that's not really a bad thing. Problems can be expected from those who do not adapt regardless of where they reside.

1/2 hour of Arias trial on HLN now

Some have, some haven't.

They are gone in Texas after one of the men from the dragging murder ordered a giant meal and then didn't eat it.

You know, usually I don't like when people pull "cards" but I have to agree with you in this case. I also think that if she was unattractive (subjective, yes I know) it would have been faster. I hate that I think that, but let's be honest.

If the perp was a male I think there already would have been a verdict. jmo

While were waiting there is new news in the Eric Willimas case. He's claiming brian damage and his hippocampus is at fault. It's been shrinking since childhood.

I guess that is the lates cop out?

we're , Williams, brain, and latest.

Yep, I know someone who robbed a bank just to get back in. He said once, it's to stressful on the outside. His meals are made for him, he doesn't have to worry about paying any bills such as utilities, he doesn't have to do his own laundry, he got free access to the library and even medical and education. Yep we make prison much to good for criminals.

IIRC, BK has thought JM too aggressive from the get-go. I think her take on that is based on personal preference and her own sensibilities. IMO, JM has been remarkably restrained, especially given the obstinate ethics-free hired guns he's had to deal with for the past 5 months.

I used to really like Beth but not on this trial.

lollllllllllllllllllllll !!!!!!

i'd just keep telling them i'm still thinking.

The jury i was on was well hung. Not that that has anything to do with anything here, just sayin'.

Were the Alexander family able to convey to the jury that they wanted death for the killer?

REPEAT - NO verdict yet. You will know as soon as we hear there’s one. Jury has 3 hrs left to deliberate
