JMO, but I am not at all surprised verdict hasn't been reached. I have thought many times of how convoluted this phase was and how both defense and prosecution jumped around. They lost me many times. Poor jurors. They didn't see and hear all that we heard and were not privy to first trial. I believe they want to know in their hearts that she was deserving of first degree murder with cruelty and the rest will be easy. The judge told them they had to accept the decision of the first jury but if I had someone's life in my hands, I would ignore the judge and go through the evidence. Then I would know she deserves the DP. I just heard on Fox news in Phoenix that the jury has asked for all the evidence from the first trial. Hmmm...if so, that matches my theory. And they are still deliberating. Sounds to me that most jurors are trying to convince others to vote for DP.
