UPDATE:
Vernon Karl Otto is still missing. The Selkirk RCMP and RCMP Major Crime Services have located Otto’s burnt pickup truck a short distance from his residence. He was last known to be operating this vehicle on May 29, 2018. The RCMP considers Otto’s disappearance suspicious.
Otto’s truck is described as a 2005 White Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab with grey decals on the box.

On May 30, 2018, at 12:40 pm, the Selkirk RCMP received a report of a missing 66-year-old male from the RM of St. Clements. Vernon Karl Otto was last seen on May 29 at 1:00 pm working in his field near his residence located near Stead, MB.
Otto is described as Caucasian, 6’2”, 200 pounds, blue eyes, and gray balding hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a gold watch and black casual shoes.
