I am also very confused. They list his address as 10506 Thomas Nelson Highway, but that is not the area they are searching (unless the map is showing it wrong). They area they are searching is off Country Lane, which is directly across from Cannery Loop. That was why I was confused when I saw the map that was created and didn't see that location pointed out on the map. Are they searching two locations or is the address of his house wrong? Ugh, I just don't know anymore.

the way the lay out of the land is right there... the land where the house RAT was in (10506) connects to the land that the house on Country lane sits.... its hard to explain... but if you look on the sat view of the map... on country lane you have a house closer down by the road and another farther back.... that farther back house belongs to someone I know and I have been to it myself... that house is surrounded by woods... and those woods connect directly across through to the house of RAT... so for the sake of access, they are searching the woods in between the two.... using country lane to access them because it gives them a better access point.... hope that helps explain it better... the terrain is really difficult right there...

also just FYI... Sylvester Cheatham, the guy who murdered his wife in Madison Heights right around the time that AM went missing, was arrested in NC today... just for a bit of good news :)

Do You have those Big Country Dumpsters where you drive down to put your trash there?

Alexis and her phone and maybe her purse are missing...could they have been tossed in a country dumpster? Has LE checked those dumpsters?

this ask fm could also connect with the other ask fm of "i see you in those flowery pants".... maybe both were from him.. and he had been watching her from food lion, and/or the corner of the parking lot of the gas station where the air hose is as reported by wset... sounds like he's been watching the gas station for awhile... and it could be he on the ask fm

I'm with you on all counts here... I absolutely agreee...

I agree with the beginning statement... he absolutely could be fine with those who is familiar with, knows, or chooses to be... thats a hallmark of a psychopath/sociopath .... on your second opinion, i differ... if he left c'ville around 5, it would put him home around 6... leaving plenty of time to watch some 🤬🤬🤬🤬, get hot and bothered (yuck) enough to go out to the store a little over an hour later (7:15) and be stalking AM... IMO

this is why I think they only moved on him after having absolute concrete evidence... this time FBI was involved, not just local LE.. and they wouldn't want to make any mistakes that would jeopardize this case like last time...

I have not had enough coffee to clear the fog yet, so help me clear this up please.... I know media and NG is saying differing things... but has LE come out and actually said that they WERE NOT on the camera at the same time? or did they say they were on the video around the same time? because that could just mean they arent willing to clarify just yet... its different if they are saying, No, they were not seen together... but I dont remember LE saying that... can you shoot me a link to them saying that, I must have missed it... there is so much to catch up on!!! I need to hire an assistant to go through it all!! LOL

Also, I know I posted this late last night, but has anyone been able to look more closely at what looked like a defensive wound directly below his right ear on his neck? not the tat by his collar, but right below the right ear.. looks like a finger nail mark with bruising... if you watch him from the time he gets up from table as he moves across room and out of the court room on video... I cant find a way to get a snapshot of it and zoom it and was hoping someone else could when it is in the best light... anyone?

also, I added a pic on my profile pic, but it doesn't show up in my posts.. how do I get it to do that?

Here is the link which says he lives in his camping trailer. http://www.timesdispatch.com/news/f...cle_6dfe1169-6733-5eb8-83a8-1212690fe487.html

This one says RAT was at the gas station at the same time. http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/l...n-Virginia-Teens-Disappearance-219567441.html

This one says he has a home in Lovingston, Va being now searched by canine units. http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/l...n-Virginia-Teens-Disappearance-219567441.html

They need to get on the right page, and quit confusing the public.

There was a body found at a cemetery (no pun intended) in Tennessee today near the TN/KY border. It immediately made me sick but when I googled the location I thought to myself "there's no way that creep would have made that long of a trip to dispose of a body."

Hum... Oddly enough, I wouldn't put it past him. He had long stretches of hours possibly 2-3 days when he wasn't under surveillance. There is a cross current between TN and VA (there's also cross current with OH and WVA in the northern part of the state), people move back and forth quite often between the two states, so I wouldn't necessarily rule anything out. We'll find out soon enough. BTW, good find, @astridxx. Gotta keep all ears to the ground.

Yes, those kind of dumpsters are in that area I believe. Certainly are in Amherst County (Neighboring county)...I would assume also in Nelson.

Thanks for the explanation Moxie.

yes... we have them everywhere... but they are picked through multiple times on a daily basis by dumpster divers looking for antiques and scrap metal... thoroughly picked through, I might add....

Thanks for the article, and so now we know one reason he had the camping trailer because it was his home... :lurk:

This may sound like a silly question...

but... Does RAT have an official address living in a trailer?

Wouldn't he probably need a P.O. Box (instead of a mailbox in front of the home) while living in a camping trailer?

New article that may clear some things up about his living arrangements and other details.

Oh dear. Alexis went there everyday for snacks and perp was always people watching. You guys are right, he had her in his sights for a while. :(

It also says FBI could not confirm perp is on gas station tape. I take that as a yes, he is, but I am not allowed to say it. Someone else already said it.

So, I'm wondering if they have him on tape with her in the car before he did whatever a day or so later. Either at the theatre parking lot or somewhere near. Just wondering, nothing to back that thought up with.

I found this regarding SC. Decided to back track and look for clues with her disappearance to clear my head until hopefully the LE find AM alive and well. According to this the two men she may have been dealing with lived at this address "at a brick house at the corner of Route 33 and Albano Road in Orange County" anyone have a place of residence or can look one up of who lived at that house during that time. Maybe it might open a window to a possible accomplice. A far reach I know. However, could be a possibility. As always, JMO.

Is the James River anywhere near Nelson County, Virginia?

The reason I'm asking this is that over the years there has been females that went missing along the James River area from the Tidewater region to the Roanoke region.

I don't know if there are any connection with the missing females over the years along the James River and U.S. Route 29, but it should be looked into.

Don't ya just love the "No Trespassing Keep Out" sign?

Wonder if the burgandy sedan which was in the 1st pictures belonged to someone at that home or LE. It appears to be gone, now.

What kind of burgundy sedan was that? Because in the Liberty CCVID there was a burgundy car parked there too. Not sure if it is connected.

That could be a good thing...if someone finds a two tone gray purse or a nice Iphone...I hope some dumpter diver finds her stuff and realizes and calls it in!

I know first hand about leaving stuff at the dumpster and coming back with another load only to find my entire first load gone and no one in sight :0 It was kind of creepy...especially for a suburban kid.

all good thinking...

but... And I only repeat it because it still puzzles me... LE had a search warrant... And was searching RAT's home and premises ....BEFORE the car was even located...

:waitasec:

How did they get the warrant?

What conditions could provide LE with the ability to go before a judge and have a warrant granted for search?? Abduction by force is the charge... I'm thinking he forcibly abducted her outside of the store and they found some sort of physical/camera evidence of this.
