I was just thinking...Amber was a heroin Addict. Wasnt Robert Blake arrested in Massapequa at one of the hotels Melissa's phone pinged from....with Heroin? Think about it....here's a guy involved in Prostitution and Heroin....hustling all over Amber's turf. Don't forget Blake was the one posting ads on Craigslist for megan. I think Amber may have known blake....being heavily involved in Prostitution and Heroin there path very easily could have crossed. Think about....Amber was asked to go to the hotel Megan worked out of! The motels are the key and what is the common denominator here? It's Robert Blake!

DS said Amber gave the caller directions to the house. I wonder if DS remembers where the caller was traveling from? Where did Kim live? How much time did she actually spend at Ambers house? Amber lived on LI. Does anyone know if she frequented the same area of Manhattan that some of the other girls did? We have read about the connections to craigs list. Im wondering if the connection lies MORE with the Times Square area than craiglist?

I cant give John Bittrolffs moms former address, but its about 7,500 feet away from Amber Costellos address.

What would make her more comfortable than a neighbor? I mean, if the SK said "Hey, I see you're from West Babylon, so am I....Yeah, small world, I live like 1 minute from that gas station, I get my coffee there every morning, oh, you too? etc etc etc." Wouldn't that make a third-party listening to the conversation (Dave Schaller) say something like:

I grew up on Long Island and just today spoke with someone who grew up 2 towns away from me. It was like we were best friends all of a sudden, talking about what high schools we went to and all kinds of other local stuff, all in the space of about 5 minutes. I know Amber didn't grow up there, but I highly doubt that the SK was able to elicit this response from her any other way (like "Hey, I'm a rich famous person and need secrecy, etc.). Amber never would have bought that BS.

John Bittrolff was 14 yrs old or younger when his parents were separated.

I'm assuming this because, in 1980 they were living at separate addresses.

On an earlier post, I revealed that one of JB's relatives lived one street over from Amber Costello; on Chelsea Ave.

Researching further, I find that this relative and JB's father moved into this house at 3xx Chelsea Ave together in July of 1980.

Johns father later moved on, but the relative stayed and was living there in 2010.

Assuming John had a decent relationship with his dad and this relative, this neighborhood could have been part of his stomping grounds for many years.

Is it a coincidence that Amber lived about 2,680 feet from one of JB's close relatives in 2010 and his dad lived at the same address with this relative for a period of time?

Is it also a coincidence that (according to reports) Amber was killed by a serial killer and John Bittrolff is just a frogs hair from being classified as a serial killer?

IMO he became aware of Amber thru UtopiaGuide and when he realized where she lived and that she fit his profile as a victim; he couldn't resist.

Ive found 8 addresses for John's dad in 3 states.

In August of 1993 he was living in Mastic Beach NY and then suddenly 4 months later in December of 1993 he moved to Amityville, NY.

Curiously, this is just after Rita Tangredi's body was found. Did he know something, or is it a coincidence?

I think ALC has a wealth of information but we just got to find it.
One thought is she was stalked as I personally believe all the girls where. Her address was all over. As far as I know she was on her way home and was picked up. I'm not even 100% convinced that he was the one calling.
Anyways, bump for Amber. Poor girl wasn't even reported missing.

I believe its because he likes to stalk his victims first. I don't think any of the GB4 were random. I think he had each of them picked out at least 24 hrs ahead of time.

Same here. Yes, all the women's stories are extremely sad - none of them deserved any of this! - but for me Amber's is the most heartbreaking in that she just really never even had a chance to begin with starting at a very young age back down in North Carolina. It seems like everyone in her life ultimately failed her in some way. Jmvho!
