I'm a very open minded person. I may not agree with what u do but I'll fight for ur right to do it.

Lets not pretend these are guys are rhode scholars. Isn't it more fun to meet a girl, talk, be nice, go out to dinner, laugh, fool around and everyone goes home feeling happy, or has butterflies, or can't wait to see each other again?

I would never treat any woman I cared about like these guys treat there "employees"

In fact my girlfriend and I just got home. We care about each other. I don't plan on calling my friends to come over and join us. I'm not just talking about sex either. Laying in bed, joking around, laughing.....it's nice to just hold someone,
I'll break her chops and get her to make me a cup of coffee, so I can "play with my web sleuths friends as she says" (she thinks I'm nuts for doing this btw). Then tomorrow ill goto those stupid stores she likes. Especially that candle store, I think it's such a waste of money. But then again she thinks its dumb that I pay $30 for a custom made fishing hook made. Maybe I was raised wrong,

Theres nothing wrong with that. Everone has their own interest. I like anything nautical. I swear, its in my genes. I spend hours walking along the shoreline collecting sea shells and listening to the waves. My granddaughter said" this is living. It doesnt get better than this."

Serial killer cases being the exception, you can find a much higher rate of violence and murder in other sectors of the population than you will find among the world of "hobbyists" who post on the internet sex forums. And when we accept the realization that rarely (if ever) a known serial killer who targeted prostitutes has ever posted on one of those forums as one of their regular hobbyists then we realize that as sick and twisted as these hobbyists sound, it is unlikely that one of them is seeking anything other than giving/receiving physical pleasure and enjoying the company of the women they seek to hire.

RSBM.

Online message boards are a relatively recent phenomenon. Serial killers are rare enough that we don't know how they're using them.

There's no doubt that if one were curious about the local prostitute scene, these "hobbyist" forums would be an ideal place to learn.

Magnotta used forums and we know how. This Melchior-Something or the other, can't remember his name now, he used a board and chat room for depressed people to find victims. So, we maybe don't know everything, but we got the first glimpses.

There are many many cases of preditors using the internet to obtain info and so forth about potential victims. Anyone who thinks any differently really should take a long hard look at this book... prepare to have your mind blown.

"Online Killers: Portraits of Murderers, Cannibals and Sex Predators Who Stalked the Web for Their Victims"

Online Killers: Portraits of Murderers, Cannibals and Sex Predators Who Stalked the Web for Their Victims: Christopher Berry-Dee, Steven Morris: 9781569757789: Amazon.com: Books@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41-AXQQkbBL.@@AMEPARAM@@41-AXQQkbBL

"THE INTERNET'S DARK SIDE

Take a cyber journey where the flicker of LCD screens illuminates unimaginable evil. It starts as a harmless online-date, but can quickly turn to kidnap, torture and death. More than just tales of sinister criminals, this collection of true horror stores destroys commonly held myths, like "it's safe to meet someone after knowing them online for many months." Predators actually gain additional satisfaction from stalking their victims over long periods of time!"

Thank you Moonunderfoot. That is definitely a book I will read.
I warn my beautiful stepdaughter all the time about being extremely cautious about who she "friends" online and what info she puts up on facebook. One day to really hit home, I found a picture of this HUGE 500lb+, butt naked, (though certain private parts were not exposed) skeavy looking middle aged man sitting at his computer typing as if he were a 16 year old boy. I think that picture hit home with more impact than hours and hours of "be careful kiddo". Like they say, a picture speaks a thousand words.

I think the safest bet is for us to realize that no matter how much we think we know about these predators, we don't know enough, and to always be aware of our surroundings and on guard. Even one of the most experienced homicide detectives and the author of the "bible" on homicide investigation, Commander Geberth, admits that he is always learning.

Oh, and Welcome!

"•Naïve 15-year-old Christina Long, whose meeting with a much older man from a chat room led to her rape and murder
•Schoolteacher Jane Longhurst, the victim of an obsessive necrophiliac who abused her decomposing body for weeks
•Bernd-Jurgen Brandes, who was not only killed and eaten by a cannibal, but had the whole process immortalized on video
•Young and beautiful Anastasia Solovyonva, the would-be bride who was brutally murdered at the hands of her supposed fiancé"

ANYTHING can happen!

Moonunderfoot:

Do you "work" in the NY area?

I have always believed that just like every other job, there is gossip within the prosti business. I also belive there are girls out there in the LI/NY area who have an idea who this person is. Getting them to come forward would be another issue. For example a couple of the girls worked at strip clubs. When they found them I bet their former co workers were like "I used to work with her. She always had that weirdo guy stalking her at the club" or something to that effect.

I agree with this as well. 100% sure that other girls in the industry have much more info and more accurate theories then what the media feeds us. Question is: Have they spoke to LE? Have they been approached by LE?

Pickle, you and I are usually on the same page. I like it.

Just like in any other industry, the inside players usually know the real story. I had something written up about my company in NY Times a few years ago. They completely botched the real story but everyone believed it. Those of us that knew the guys knew it was BS.

I'm looking forward to a Q&A page for moonunderfoot. This would give the forum much needed information on the industry.

"Worked" is a better term. :truce: :great:
I'm sure someone knows something, the problem is to get that person to come forward and do the right thing. There is no way that after 11 people, NO ONE knows anything??? I find that hard to believe honestly. Am I wrong?

OK, so there's this UtopiaGuide poster named Gavy Cravath. Since he was mentioned in MSM, I think it's OK to sleuth him according to the Websleuths TOS.

He is the only white male UG poster that I can tell used the word "Half Breed", that the killer used to refer to Melissa's sister. Also, he lives in a town next to Massapequa, which would put him in the proximity of where I believe the SK operates from.

Check out his "possible" connection to burlap...

We see that Gavy's grandfather and great uncle were newspapermen in the 1930s and 1940s who covered the mob and gained some notoriety. The relevant association here is that they were involved with covering the New York mobsters dubbed "Murder, Inc.", as well as the association with the mobster Jack "Legs" Diamond.

So check out this little tidbit on Murder, Incorporated:
http://mafia.wikia.com/wiki/Murder,_Inc.

Note that Murder Inc.'s Albert Anastasia killed John Bazzano.

Now check out the headline that mentions John Bazzano titled "8th Burlap Bag Victim Is Slain"
http://news.google.com/newspapers?n..._kaAAAAIBAJ&sjid=YEsEAAAAIBAJ&pg=2698,4461934

And check out this article titled:
"DOMINICK BUFANO IS FOUND SLAIN" - Cohort of Diamond Found Trussed Up in Burlap Bag

Also note the "Sack Murder" Investigation. Quote: The “Sack Murder” investigation made headlines around the U.S. and alerted the nation’s law enforcement agencies to a complex and firmly entrenched criminal network in western Pennsylvania with formal connections to gangs across the country.

So did the mob in these days basically have an M.O. that involved burlap bags?

Gavvy seems pretty smart, and pretty wired into his family history as it relates to Murder Inc.

I also note the "hostility" that Gavy feels towards women is apparently related somehow, according to Gavy, to his grandfather, great grandfather and mother.

http://utopiaguide.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31440&page=4
****, masquerade, I think some of my "hostility" (?) toward your sex is due to some sort of frigidity from my mom. Yeah, Freud, I know. I wasn't the "crown prince" in the house being the only boy. I was kind of viewed as the enemy, I think. I know there were issues with my grandfather and my mother and my great grandfather and every woman he came in contact with not molestation, have you, just alcoholism and general verbal and physical abuse)

Listen, I am pretty lit right now. I just think a lot of my issues come down to 'trust'. I had my opportunities, but I have really blown every 'decent' girl off that ever really cared about me. It's always been the difficult to 'love' ones, the distant ones, that cought my attention. Freud again ~~~> "mom".

**** strange how life works out,
Gavy

I'll also note that it was mentioned in newspapers that the serial killer possibly used the name "Mickey Mouse" on one of the burner phones that was used. Note Gavvy use of the word "Mickey Mouse" in a derogatory fashion:
NHL Playoffs - Tremendous! - UtopiaGuide

Reading through some of his other posts, I've also noted that Gavvy seems to have been rejected by a white woman, and experienced some form of deep humiliation.

<modsnip>

He thinks that Melissa Barthelemy looks like this girl Dalia, who he was apparently the last one to see. But he says she's OK (Dalia, that is), but she's in California now. But if she's OK in California, then why mention that perhaps Dalia is Melissa, or maybe I'm misreading what he wrote.

And here, he talks about more family issues:
UG NEWSROOM: War Stories by UG Members - Page 246 - UtopiaGuide

So look, this guy was a prolific poster. Maybe he's just got so much material out there that you can tie him to Jimmy Hoffa. But I did think at least the burlap connection was interesting.

WOW!! 9 out of 10 of these guys sound like real nut jobs...had no idea there were even sites like this. But as much as I think gravy fits...and who knows could be the guy.
I just found it kind of funny how gravy was always around to talk and then once they all got on the topic about the four girls found...most the guys were seemed worried and didn't like what had happen. Calling the guy a wacko sicko and other names...but gravy seemed to have nothing to say about the matter.
But I think we should not rule out other guys on that site...Some things seemed upsetting to me. "time for me to go and destroy" was what another user had posted.

That's what I've always wondered. If the SK was clearly operating for many years in the area, it stands to reason that there were prospective victims who escaped or were abused but made it out alive. There's no way he had a 100% "success" rate. LE should make aggressively pursue women who have worked in the area the past 15 years and ensure immunity in exchange for information. There is someone - likely many women - who have been targeted by this guy who may not realize the significance.

I imagine EVERY provider has a few tales to tell about violent clients. That sort of thing goes with the territory.
