Couples who divorce usually do so because something is wrong in the marriage. All divorces I've known of have had disturbing times beforehand. That is not to say that somewhere down the road, the couple became friends again.

So, perhaps TS and her first husband did have an amicable divorce. If so, I apologize for my statement above. :blushing:

TS was ultimately liable and MS wasn't remotely qualified to assume his role within her practice. I'm guessing that MS exaggerated his resume and perhaps when the practice was initially created TS had more time time to help him with his role. Once the patients started rolling in he was more or less on his own and could get into trouble. I'm thinking that TS was probably a big ideas type person and let the MS handle the details/grunt work. Unfortunately, the devil is in the details.

<modsnip> When I stated that TE was ultimately liable, I only meant that I think she had started to learn things about MS that threatened her business and her name. I think the jig was up. Perhaps in the past there were things about MS that she could forgive or overlook but I believe her professional reputation was not something she was willing to let MS sacrifice.

Back when TS and MS were dating then married, the Internet was not what it is today. People were not checking up on each other as they do today.

TS had just come out of a divorce, so one can imagine months of a miserable marriage. She meets MS who puts on the charm, charisma, perfect gentleman acts and sweeps her off her feet. He sees the perfect chance to move way up the ladder and sees the $$$$ signs! What do you want to bet it was his idea to get married?

And then, after the wedding, bit by bit, the pieces start unraveling about who MS is? I doubt she knew everything about him or his friends from the past. It doesn't seem like she would have stayed in the marriage, let alone let him be around the girls if she had full knowledge of his real life!

Perhaps MS feared a divorce was in the near future and came up with this idea?

I'm sure the last thing MS wanted was TS hiring a PI or talking to an attorney.

Kenny Cousins, (TS's X) undoubtedly is a nice guy that TS remained friends with. That still doesn't mean that TS wasn't miserable and vulnerable to a charming psychopath when the marriage ended. Even under the best of circumstances, the termination of a marriage is a traumatic one for the majority of women & men. All of course what i say is only my humble opinion.

They do not have MS in custody simply because CWW hasn't started talking yet and LE doesn't have enough evidence.

Any time now we can expect to get a news update that LE (waiting until he leaves the house) to surround and arrest him. They want him as far away from his parents and those precious girls as possible when it goes down. (if i were to guess i would think he and the kids are staying with his parents in Naples FL)

While planning for the tragic approaching event at the wedding, CWW and MS have already laughed, patted each other on the back, giggled while having a few drinks ... They even discussed that IF they did get caught (which wasn't going to happen because of the PERFECT planning of these 2 genius wannabes, each would 'fall on the sword for the other' and never say a peep to implicate the other.

I'm petrified, after the arrest, it goes to trial and there jury will have no choice but to acquit because CWW won't say a word. Seriously, I thought many sleuths were exaggerating with their appearance being similar. The wedding pics were very telling. They are some WEIRD DUDES to look almost EXACTLY alike. The EFFORT these 2 'childhood buddies' took to look alike. My husband is a twin who looks almost identical to his brother. We might show up at a family reunion and laugh that they are dressed the same ...but they DON"T go to the trouble of both wearing same hair styles, or same type of glasses and same type of beard growths/styles. This is some bizarre stuff going on here. Possibly some homosexuality vibes.

If MS and kids are staying with his parents in Naples as I'm guessing, I bet they are scared S---LESS! I love my adult kids with all of my heart as I'm sure they do to, but I feel so sorry for them too. They may know he is a sociopath. I think i would take all of the knives and guns out of the house or pay for his motel room. I just hope it gets resolved soon.

Good point. Perhaps TS was "interviewing" divorce attorneys and MS found out. I can only assume she didn't have too many windows of opportunity in her schedule for this kind of activity.

I find myself so incredibly angry this morning while catching up on this forum! Every time I read here I just get so very angry.

My anger comes from the very fact that this amazing woman and mother was murdered all because of what? Was it monetary greed, anger, or to cover up something?? Let's face it, MS and CWW were extremely close all of their lives. (I still suspect they are related.) No one in this world could ever convince me that as close as MS and CWW were/are that one would not know what the other was up to.

Dr. Sievers had been an outstanding person all of her life, IMO. If her grades had not stood up to excellence, she would not have been accepted into medical school, much less been able to graduate and become a doctor. Remember burning the midnight oil just before an important exam? She put the work into becoming a doctor and spent years of her life doing it. She accomplished so much more even after becoming a doctor. Then she met this 'man' whom she married and had 2 beautiful children. She became a wife, mother, and was a doctor. How dare someone snuff her life out and for what?

I'm angry. I'm even more angry than when I first heard about the murder, and the reason is because through all of the aftermath of it we have come to feel that we knew this doctor, wife, and mother. I simply cannot imagine how Dr. Sievers family feels. I want the family to have their answers and even then it will not bring Dr. Sievers back, but it will at least let them get back to grieving her properly.

Dr. Sievers life meant something. It was important. Her little daughters have forever lost their mother. Their mother got on that plane that night and that was the last they ever saw her. The murderer(s) have got to answer to that. It cannot happen soon enough, IMO.

Sorry, I just had to vent. I look at CWW and JR's face in those booking shots and just want to jump through the computer screen and really, really hurt them. Who do they think they are to have done this? And why? WHY?

Dr. Sievers death had affected and ruined so many lives when you extrapolate it out. She mattered and she will not be forgotten.

GB those two daughters, Dr. Sievers family, and her close friends. We also cannot forget those patients whose lives she made better.

That raises the thought for me, there might have been some vehement hatred because she was a successful, apparently wealthy woman. These were guys who didn't live her kind of lifestyle or have any hope of achieving what she had, much less what she was set to achieve as her career was taking off. The women in the lives of these good old boys are dependent on their men. I can imagine their envy manifesting as cold-blooded contempt.

I've had mixed emotions too. It's a hollow victory...finally getting this <modsnip> into our state. I see CWW in the clip where they are changing him from one vehicle to the next...and realize what she was up against...physically. No matter how smart or assertive she was...the reality is she had no power in the end. That makes me sad...she deserved so much more than this after all her hard work. And all of these adults involved who have shown by their actions that they could care less about her children. SMH. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful that everyone is working so hard to seek justice. It's kind of like a divorce....no one really wins.

Earlier in this thread was the beginning of Dr. Sievers' professional bio and history. We can do one for her. In fact, I encouraged that to no avail in the timeline minimal discussion thread. I'd suggest it be put together in this thread, and on the completed version, I'll copy it over to a sticky thread.
Let me discuss the MS one with the other mods, since we already tiptoe TOS on all things MS. Great idea, Surfie.

Teresa was born November 19, 1968 in Derby, CT.

Dr. Sievers graduated Valedictorian in 1986 from Ansonia High School in CT and Fairfield University 1990 with a Masters of Science in Biology and had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2006.
In 1996, Dr. Sievers graduated with honors from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville where she was awarded resident of the year. She became board certified in Internal Medicine. After moving to Bonita Springs in 2006, she opened her practice, Restorative Health & Healing Center in the Estero Medical Center and was on staff at Naples Community Hospital.
In 2008, Dr. Sievers completed a board certification and fellowship at the American Academy of Anti-Aging, Regenerative & Functional Medicine. Four years later, she obtained her Medical Master of Science Degree in Metabolic & Nutritional Medicine through the University of South Florida.
