WELAKA -- A prayerful vigil marking the 18th month of the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings from her Satsuma home was held Tuesday night by her family, which steadfastly believes she is still alive.

I like balloons, I truly do.
However, I have never heard of a released balloon bringing a missing child home. Instead, the Cummings family should all be sending up prayers for little Haleigh. Then go out and hunt for her.

ITA. There's nothing wrong with having vigils for Haleigh BUT I would rather see live searches for her. JMO

Were they invited? And honestly, I wouldn't want to even be in the same company as TN and AS, I wouldnt blame Crystal, I wouldnt be able to stomach being around them, not after last years classless poem from Annette Sykes.

Chablis, that's what I'm thinking. I don't think they were invited. They are so divided and Haleigh is in the middle. But they can't even get past their differences for Haleigh's sake and come together. I understand what you mean about being in the same company as TN or AS, but for Haleigh, it should've been a different story-they should've came together. I'm not knocking anyone, it's just upsets me, that as Haleigh's family they cannot work as a unit. IMO, Teresa and Annette are the reasons, that they can't.

suspicious1, ITA! It always disgusted me watching the two families in those make-shift tents throwing jabs at each other. Their dirty laundry should not have been aired in the news on national TV. I never believed that Crystal had anything to do with HaLeigh’s disappearance. If she had, IMO, she would have most likely taken both of her children. No matter what her lifestyle was that caused Ron to have custody, she is still HaLeigh’s mother. And look where her father is today.

They have always all been invited to each other's events. They were all at the 1 year vigil for HaLeigh that was held in Satsuma (in February), and when the Sheffield/Griffis family did a vigil in Baker County (approximately the same time), Teresa and Annette went to that one.

I like when HaLeigh's family is able to remember that this is only about praying for HaLeigh and can stand united for an hour out of their day. They don't have to sit next to each other. They don't have to be best friends or love each other. They only have to be united in their love of HaLeigh.

And the Cummings family has made it very difficult for everyone to get together because there is so much hatred, and most of it stems from Crystal probably daring to leave Ronald. Ronald lost her child, and lied, and married the gal who lost her, defended her, hardly searched for her, she had to sit there and listen while they said Look at Crystals side, and the scary sad thing is, more than likely, the Cummings know this child is dead and her fate, and they have the audacity to act the way they do, they should be kissing Crystals behind. And why celebrate a year and a half of her being gone, and presumed dead, I can see a year or two, but a year and a half reflection? I am sick of the self serving spectacle by the Cummings side, thats for sure. Does anyone know if Rons truck made an appearance at the vigil?

If I thought for a second that my "other half" or his family had something to do with my daughters death there is NO WAY IN HADES I would step foot any where near them. How any one could expect CS to is beyond me. That being said I would love to see some action from ANY family member searching for Haleigh.

For the record I don't have a problem with Haleigh being remembered and honored in special meaningful ways by anyone..
I do have a problem with the Cummings Clan showing up at a church holding a vigil, still pretending she was abducted 18 months ago and claiming they don't know where she is or who is responsible.......PEOPLE OF THE LIE... All of them...JMHOOTS

Just thinking on this and, of course, they would be under no legal pressure to do so--but if all was accurate as they portrayed this past year and a half, why not do what they can to clear their names, as some do consider them under suspicion? Take some LDT and LVA and Hypnosis tests and be done with it--thereafter, less suspicion would fall on TN and AS? If I were the subject of public scrutiny and had nothing to hide--I'd be first in line and release these reports to the media. It was, after all, a good plan for Misty.:waitasec: All JMO

I can see a few unsettling things in that picture, but focusing on the guard, yeah, its weird, but maybe they are paranoid some weirdo will bust in and start screaming they know what happened to their grandchild and whatnot, I don't know.
