VT - 14 year old arrested after at least 43 dogs die in arson fire

Don't know if you're in the uk and have seen but it's allegedly a young lad who was very badly attacked by a dog in recent months.

I have seen on Facebook tonight, people 'naming and shaming' and posting pictures of the boy after he was attacked.

What he allegedly did, was beyond awful. Heartbreaking! But I can't say that he deserves what some people are claiming would be 'justice' ...

I cannot even read this thread because if I say what I think would be Justice for these poor furry babies , I will surely be banned for life. 14 or not.......

Also yes a fourteen year old or whoever is responsible would know wgatp right and wgatp wrong but I personally would assume that anyone committing such an act would be very mentally unwell.

And your point? Manson is nuts, so were Bundy, Dahmer and hordes of others. Where was all they sympathy for them?

The boy may or may not be mentally unbalanced, but just like those listed above, he is evil.

I am stating that the boy who has been named and shamed and wished a thousand deaths by you lot may not even be THE boy suspected of it AND the boy arrested "on suspicion of" was released without charge! ... all I was saying is GET THE RIGHT MAN FIRST! ...

I've not seen the boy named anywhere that I've read. And I haven't seen anyone on this forum wish him dead.

I don't have to 'get the right man' to know that the person responsible is evil.

having been attacked four times in my life - first by a horde of toy poodles, once by a pair of Doberman pinchers, once by an insane German Shepherd, and once by an insane Corgi-I can honestly say that I've never killed a dog in my entire life. And, I can also say I have rescued adopted, and love many dogs over my life.

I was not traumatized by any of them, although I hold a distaste for small dogs. However, that does not mean that I would burn down their kennels by any stretch of the imagination.

the ages for the toy poodle and Doberman assaults was before I was 12, and the other two were more recent.there is no way on gods green earth that I would light a fire and kill anything intentionally let alone..

if the 14 year old who did this was mauled by dogs that is no excuse. And I agree with those who say both arson and animal torture are two significant indicators of later homicidal /serial killer tendencies.

what and horrific sight that must have been. For anyone who saw it, let alone the firefighters who went in to save the dogs. Having watched my neighbors house burn with her inside it screaming for her life, fires are my number one fear. I cannot imagine how it was for everyone...my prayers are with all of the firefighters, neighbors, and dogs who have experienced one of the most horrific events that can ever happen.
