Shaftsbury, Vermont - September 7, 2006

An arrest has been made in the Constance Oxley homicide.

The Vermont State Police announced they have arrested her husband, Stephen Bolesky.

The trial court had evidence that the victim was shot in bed, through the back of the head with a forty-five caliber bullet.

A Shaftsbury man who died before he could go on trial on charges he killed his wife left the bulk of his estate to create a memorial in her honor.

About $400,000 from the estate of Stephen A. Bolesky will go to the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington to honor Constance Oxley, 59...

Bolesky, 62, died in June of complications from cancer. He had been charged with first degree murder for the July 10, 2006 shooting death of his wife in their Shaftsbury home.
