A cold case murder of a Vermont couple has apparently been solved. Michael Anthony Louise, 79, has been arrested for the 1989 murder of his in-laws. In May 2020, a Vermont State Police detective sent a bloodstain sample found in Louise's car for testing, and the newest round of DNA testing found the blood of George Peacock. Louise was a suspect for many years, but DNA testing was critical for the arrest.
