Unable to establish communication, family members grew increasingly concerned, especially noting their last known locations in Burlington, Lowell, Morrisville, and Stowe. The nature of their disappearance has been deemed suspicious, and authorities express deep concerns regarding their welfare.

According to a release by Vermont State Police, the disappearances "occurred under suspicious circumstances" and there are concerns for their welfare.

Police searching for two missing men from Massachusetts in Vermont are set to give an update on the search on Wednesday.

Vermont State Police have said they are concerned for the welfare of 21-year-olds Jahim Solomon, of Pittsfield, and Eric White, of Chicopee, who were last known to have been in the northern part of the Green Mountain state and disappeared under suspicious circumstances

The agency was set to give an update on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Morristown Police Department.
*sadly, this does not sound like it’s gonna turn out well for these two guys. I hope I’m wrong…

*Thanks so much for the update. I was afraid of this. From your link:

Police located the bodies along the Albany-Eden Road on Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023. Tuesday afternoon, a game warden with the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife located evidence that appeared suspicious several dozen feet off the road in the town of Eden. The Vermont State Police Field Force Division secured the scene overnight.

Wednesday morning, investigators examined the location and discovered the remains of one individual. In continuing searches Wednesday afternoon, VSP detectives located a second body about a mile north of where the first body was found.

Police have a number of suspects and people of interest in mind, Trudeau said.

This is kind of case that involves quite a number of people from the northern Vermont area. ... It's been complicated to actually get a true story or account from many of the people that we've spoken to," Trudeau said. "There's also been a number of people that we're looking for as part of our interview process who we haven't been able to locate probably because they either fled or they're just difficult to find."

Autopsies have confirmed that the two bodies found in a wooded area off a rural road in northern Vermont are those of two missing Massachusetts men who were shot to death, Vermont State Police said Thursday.

Susan Lynn’s son, Jahim Solomon, was one of two men whose bodies were discovered in northern Vermont on Wednesday, as The Messenger previously reported. Autopsy reports revealed that Solomon and Eric White, both 21 and from Massachusetts, died after receiving gunshot wounds to the head. Solomon received multiple gunshot wounds, while White had one.

Federal court documents obtained by NBC5 show that Theodore Bland is a person of interest in the deaths of Jahim Solomon and Eric White, two 21-year-old men from Massachusetts who were found dead along a roadway in Eden in October.
Theodore Bland

Bland was arrested in Tennessee on Oct. 24 of last year following a series of gun and illegal drug charges including one instance in which Bland threatened a driver with a loaded shotgun at a Simon's Convenience Store in South Burlington back in March.

The court document containing this information was filed by the U.S. Attorney's Office in response to Bland's attorney's request to have him released from custody.
