Personal isolation may be a good thing for Lia but cruel for her loved ones.
Middlebury was a wise choice for her being quite liberal.

NH certainly was a good/smart move for you and compared to other places both states have much to offer especially the times we're in.
I've just seen the drastic changes in my town and it's frightening and sad.

I am not in NH ...long ago life of 30 years so long ago handle for me.
Twas in northern Florida for 15 years. Now a mile from the Bennington border so I feel Vermont is my stomping grounds now

But all the changes to Bennington County make everyone sad.
But the essence of Vermont is still alive.

Middlebury IS unique . There are reasons why a smart active person all the way from California would choose to go their. My Boston niece chose it --prob for similar reasons. She is now a well respected lawyer. I envision Lia going that route as well.
God, I am just so hoping for this to be a personal choice. But suffering friends and relatives are just so awful for now.

Does anyone remember the name of the other Middlebury student (male) who went missing from the Campus quite some years ago ? There was also another case from the same Campus in the 70s, a girl I think. Trying to find these. Not that there is a correlation, just interested.

good thought... more than 40 were planned in Vermont. And many big ones not very far away.

Would someone verify that absolute last time anyone saw Lia. I feel it was a specific time on Friday night. (NOT sunday as printed in msm).
Did she have housemates or roommates.... IF no one saw her at her residence, then maybe, possibly she DID travel to one of the bigger events.
