Apparently she is not the mother of the child and he is not yet divorced from the mother of that child that was molested. He also molested one of Wilkin's children and another relative of Wilkin's. That is what has been reported. That is why they say it complicated.

At the risk of repeating the obvious, this is a nice find DS, and thanks for bringing it here for discussion. Amazing how much devastation one man can inflict on multiple generations. For some of the kids, the wounds will never heal. He has easily managed to outscore Michael Vick on the absolute human garbage index (HGI). However, multiplying the HGI by the number affected (HGI X # affected = Total Garbage Score, or TGS), MV is still the top dawg on the dung pile. Bad newz all around for everyone involved.

The interpersonal (used loosely) and interfamilial dynamics here are as sick as any I've seen or read. This is a multigenerational nightmare.

Michael Christmas, 41, pleaded guilty in November to killing Ronald Wilkins, as well as three charges of aggravated sexual assault on victims under 10 years of age. He agreed to serve a 30-year to life sentence, which will likely lead to him spending the rest of his days behind bars.

Police said Christmas rode to the home of Ken Harrington on Cleveland Avenue in Shaftsbury on a bicycle and shot Wilkins in the chest a number of times. State's Attorney Erica Marthage said the motive for the killing is believed to be that Christmas thought he would soon face incarceration over sex crime allegations and decided to kill Wilkins because he didn't like him.

"He didn't murder Mr. Wilkins because of the sexual assaults," Marthage said. "He murdered him because he wanted to, because he was going to jail and this would be his last opportunity."
