Vanessa Whitaker, 30, was last seen around 11 p.m. Monday night at her Hawthorne Lane residence. Whitaker has a cognitive impairment and a history of hiding from those trying to find her. Whitaker is is described by police as a 5-foot-tall female who has brown hair, hazel eyes and weighs 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light green Ben & Jerry’s T-Shirt and purple Crocs.

Located

A missing woman in Colchester has been found. Police spent all morning trying to find her in a Malletts Bay neighborhood but that's not where they found her.

The good news is she has been located, but what has police curious is where she was found-- over two dozen miles away from her home.

Missing again!

The 31-year-old went missing in the overnight hours Wednesday. It's not the first time she has run off and police say while they do not think foul play is involved they are concerned for her safety.
