GUILTY WA- 3 N. Seattle brothers, 78,79 & 82, arrested child sex-abuse investigation

I've seen articles that refer to the brothers having lived together for over 50 years, but I haven't seen anything that indicates how long they've lived in the house in Seattle. I wonder where they lived prior to that.

They lived in a house in shelton belonging to a now deceased 4th brother, I believe it was condemned but not demod, and is being thoroughly investigated

Just a musing long jump, one article mentions photos from a nudist colony, the one I'm aware of is about an 1 1/2 north of Seattle on hwy 2 an area known for its dumping grounds. Some of the identified remains belonged to girls from seattle.

I found a nudist colony right in Shelton Washington. It's surrounded by thousands of acres of forest land.

Just went into the Washington State court dockets and haven't found any updates for these guys....
just lists their last court dates.

I found Charles, Thomas and Edwin in the Court records. They all appeared before the Judge on October 24, 2017. Charles hearing was dismissed without prejudice. And Thomas and Edwin' s hearing is continued again until November. See attached.

*Order of Continuance Hearing - WA - arrested for 2 counts possession of depiction of minors engaged in sexual explicit conduct & found Manifesto detailing child rape & homicide - Charles L. Emery(82): was sent for competency eval on 8/31. (Along with his 2 bros: Thomas Edwin Emery (80): pled not guilty, next court hearing Sept. 26th, held on $500,000 bail & Edwin Harold Emery (78): in medical center (under guard) arraignment hearing was Sept. 5th and no plea was entered. Thomas & Edwin had hearings on October 24th.
The charges were dismissed this week after a King County Superior Court judge ruled that the suspect, Charles Emery, 82, lacks the capacity to understand the proceedings and assist in his own defense. An examination at Western State Hospital also determined that Emery is unlikely to become competent within a reasonable time to stand trial. He was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year, and court documents say he is "suffering from a severe and persistent mental illness," and is often confused or disoriented and experiences hallucinations.

Why do I think of the film "Primal Fear", when I read about Emery actions when he was placed at the Western State Hospital Psychiatric Hospital?

Is he just acting crazy like Aaron played by Edward Norton in the film to fool his attorney and the doctors.

Emery walked out of an interview with a forensic psychologist and the report is based on a review of jail and medical records, discovery materials in the criminal case and behavioral observations by hospital staff, according to the evaluation. Good thing other courts don't base prisoners psychiatric evaluations on how the prisoner acts or what they say when placed in custody.

I don't think old Emery is as crazy as some thinks he is. Perhaps they should have asked his neighbors how crazy he was.

They had to learn that from somewhere. I wonder what dad's proclivities were? We know he married a much younger woman, which doesn't make him a pedo but I wonder if there were uncles or even mom? All I have is opinion and supposition. Ugh, who knows besides them? I figured the case against Charles would be dropped but I really hope there is some form of justice for the other two.
Do we know of any offenses Donald may have committed? I have seen him mentioned, have I missed something?

It will be interesting to watch this play out in the courts. I am certain that the State will not want to pay to provide housing/nursing care for these guys - yet they are charging them with the most heinous of crimes. I think it is appropriate to pursue involuntary treatment for Charles but I am wondering how able bodied and sound minded the other brothers are. It is incredible that they have not been previously caught given they were using the internet, perpetrated against 2 generations in their family, and they didn't appear to be suspicious of crimes against children prior to 2013.
