Found Deceased WA - Andrew Morgan, 30, car found on I-90, Kittitas Co., 16 Nov 2021

On Tuesday 11/16, the Washington State Patrol found 30-year old Andrew Morgan's vehicle abandoned after a minor one-vehicle accident on the Bullfrog Road off-ramp, exit #80, off I-90. The vehicle was impounded after a search of the nearby area showed no-one around.

This week, the Sheriff's Office learned that Andrew's family in Mississippi has been unable to reach him since then. We're asking the public to help answer his family concerns by providing any information about Andrew's whereabouts and well-being.

Andrew is 5' 7" and about 140 lbs. His family believes he was living out of his car and working in south Seattle.

Location data from Andrew's cell phone shows that his phone was at the location of the accident, near Cle Elum, last Tuesday morning; but it shows no activity or movement after that. Search and Rescue personnel and K9's are searching the area.

From the updated link, some items believed to belong to Andrew have been found, and his family reports that he had been having episodes where he was frightened and confused, believing he was being followed or chased.

Sadly, I’m going to guess they found some clothing. My guess only. I’m seeing two nearby rivers on the map. Hope he’s found shelter somewhere but it’s not looking good. So many young men have been experiencing the exact same thing recently.

"According to the sheriff’s office, Morgan’s family is worried he may be suffering another schizophrenic crisis—he had a similar episode last year when he fled from Seattle to Mississippi, believing he was being chased. His family suspects he stopped taking his medication, and he believe he may be trying to shelter or hide somewhere, putting himself in danger."

The body of a 30-year-old man who has been missing for nearly two weeks was found Sunday, the Kittitas County Sheriff confirmed.

Andrew Morgan’s body was found less than half a mile from where his vehicle was found abandoned after a minor collision near exit 80 off Interstate 90 in Cle Elum.
