I'm in Puyallup. I'll keep an eye out and print some posters to hang tomorrow. Do you know where in Puyallup he was sighted?

I don't but I am trying to find out. Is there any area there where you would most likely find homeless? Or maybe young people skating?

You never know, he could be panhandling since he had no money when he left. Just a guess, but he must be eating somehow -- I hope. If I gather more info, I will pass it on asap!

Puyallup is a quaint good area. I knowna ton of resources like shelter and so forth but in puyallup directly he can get by with sleeping places and dumpster diving for food. Hell
Costco for samples and walk the mall and library during the day. I would check the pioneer area by the library. Popular for skating. Safe area. Well
If you are white. :-(

Call puyallup police and ask where homeless sleep and stuff. People
Stand on the freeway exit at 94th where toys r us is with w sign for money. BUT since his pic is on posters I don't think he is prob doing this. And being young and from up I'm not sure of he would know the too spots to sleep
Homeless in puyallup.

If I were from up and on the streets I would go to puyallup. Lived in all those areas and it is the safest to be.

Walmart open 24 hours as well.

Be in Puyallup at this point. But I was thinking about Bradley lake park this morning. And the sounder he can do as far north as Bothell

They should check public transportation station cams in tacoma
For sounder and amtrack.

I don't know where Puyallup is and I can't map from work. How far is that away from his home?

Gig, Puyallup and Tacoma are about 8-10 miles apart and there is public transportation (an approximately 20 minute bus ride).

/\ yes. Speaking of the bridge and nice areas yes gig harbor would ne
Nice too. Safe. Places to hide out like someone's shop or on property.

Praying for Brison and think about this every day. Really hope he is found safe and with a friend or responsible person.

I am sorry. "The family cannot think of any reason he would run off." Really??
Parents divorced, mom ill with an advanced neuromuscular degenerative disease with no known cure but 'on vacation' leaving him to take care of his siblings.
Multiple reasons jump off the page at me.

Very good post. Thank you. This young man must have had a lot on his mind...

Yes, the parents seem to rule by manipulation and reverse psychology. I'd run too.

I hope he is really safe somewhere trying to collect his thoughts and make a life that he wants.

It did seem rather odd to me that the mom would be going on a vacation with her being as ill as it sounds. Did she just go for a weekend? How long was she away? Was Brison frequently left in charge of his younger siblings in addition to caring for his mom?

Poor kid. I hope and pray he is safe somewhere. I haven't been able to find any recent information about his disappearance, has anyone else?

Where's the media? I don't see anything new and have the parents made a public plea yet?

I get confused about this case. Brison is #3 out of four kids. Which means he watched one sibling right? Not siblings?

The namus description, too vague imo. Is the sibling he was watching too young to describe the color of the shirt? And the nickname/alias "jason rook". That sounds more like a name and not a nickname.

Did they analyze the note that was left to make sure who wrote it?

And, imo, the mom is in denial. The word emotional does not take the place of depression. I'm sure she doesn't want to think the worst, but if he was in fact depressed, did he see a school counselor? Were there any reports made at the school regarding bullying? At his age, he would have taken the phone at least.

And where's the news media, the le statement, and the family pleas?

Brison has two older brothers and the other brother looks to be not much younger than him. So, I'm not seeing how he would be overwhelmed watching a brother close to his own age.

Still nothing, no updates, no reports of possible sightings...

I remember the parents just saying that LE was handling it. In the beginning, the Mom would not even admit that he left a note or that he ran away. She made it sound as if it just disappeared. People were trying to organize searches and she discouraged it, but was still vague. Then the fights began on social media with family pointing fingers at each other. When the family friend posted on the missing page that Bryson left a note saying he was leaving, that he should have shown more courtesy to his family. That was the first mention of a planned exit, and a note left.

I personally spoke to Brison's Aunt who said that it was planned and he was frustrated at his mom for constantly leaving him to head the house and fend for themselves while she went camping with her boyfriend every weekend. She said his note said he was sick of her taking off all of the time and the constant chaos. I do know that he was having trouble in school (per the aunt) and this is the reason he cut out social media. He left his phone so his parents could not find him. He does not want to be found. His Aunt also said that he had been planning this for awhile. He actually left at around 2am (IIRC) and NOT the following morning as was originally said.

Anyhow, that's why LE was not looking for him. He is 18 and wanted to leave and told them he was leaving and why. The media didn't want to cover it for the same reasons.

I thought it was crazy that the family couldn't even describe the skateboard he had. It was a skateboard, then a longboard, then a skateboard, and back to a longboard. There is a big difference between the two! Also, the colors of the underbody were unknown, then green, then maybe orange, and then again, they are not sure. I think it's hard to give specifics if you don't pay attention to them too much =(

I remember my 17 yr old having a skateboard, theres no way I would be able to keep track of what's underneath, that I can understand.
Your post makes me feel confident that he is okay somewhere. And it makes me feel like the boy just wanted to be a part of what was going on with family functions, and probably did just get tired of it. I don't feel that he harmed himself, imo. His wallet left behind though, idk, if he had id I would think he would want that. I sure hope I'm right, that he's okay.

There have been several sightings of him in the next town over, living with the wayward ones (homeless?) like him.

My kids have skateboards & although I may not remember the design or color underneath, I would definitely remember if it was a longboard in skateboard. Skateboard is about 30" long and a Longboard can be about 60" long. I just think that if you didn't know anything else about what he was wearing, etc. then you would make an extra effort to at least figure out which board he took so that it gives some identifying factor that separates him from the crowd.

They said he was obsessed with the book IN TO THE WILD, and the story about Chris McCandless. His aunt said he stood for a lot of the same ideals as McCandless did and this is why they thought he may have gone to that city where the cross is in California to live, (I can't recall the name right now). He left his camping equipment behind, but he is an avid outdoorsman. I am just guessing that this is why the phone and wallet were left behind. He could have easily taken cash without a wallet.

I hope he is "worldly" enough to live in the arena that he has chosen so that he is safe and at peace with his decision. I hope he is found so that it also brings peace of mind to his family.
