Looking back at this now , I would suggest that investigators take a closer look at her boyfriend . Regardless if they find her alive , dead , or not at all . That tattoo also intrigues me .

Exactly. There are tattoo experts who can read tattoos. I found a few articles where tattoos have a major success rate in solving crime...the list goes on. There are more of these “intriguing tattoos” if you search carefully.

According to her best friend, Brittany's boyfriend had also told several people that she was with several different men. Every person he said she was with has claimed they were never with her and do not know where she is.

I have wondered...Is this information passed to Brittany’s friend, by the boyfriend and these other different men documented in a police report? Or is it heresay? IMO, I doubt they will answer many questions from Brittany’s girlfriend or even her family. Most likely there’s been a lot of emotion involved. In my past experience no one wants to be the “snitch”. Have these men been interviewed by the police? If not, why?

If she spent days and weeks with her boyfriend as disclosed above, and left for long periods even leaving the State with him, Imo, he’s got a better clue than his claim of the “this guy or that guy” deal. If she meant anything to him he would have an involvement in this search. And vice versa she would have contacted him.

IMO, there is much more information than what’s been left on the table. And it’s going to take a concerted effort to pull in enough information for people to work from, in this particular case. Is the private investigator still interested?

The boyfriends demeanor sounds like he heard about the " other men " got angry , killed her , and hides his guilt by playing the devastated relation . It sounds a little complicated but when it comes down to an interview its quite easy to mask .

Thank you Sanz, I will get more info on the court appearances. I'd assume if she showed up to the September one, the investigator would be aware. Or at least I'd hope that's the way it works.

It could well be her, same first last and middle name, and there are only 8 miles between these two courts. From the case possibly involve her, looks like she had some family issue since very young age, she may appear in civil court as a minor in 1999 (guess that was when her aunt gained custody of her), 2011 and 2012, that may explain her family only reported her missing 5 months later

A photo of one of the thigh tattoo is posted with this case summary. Walker's collarbone has previously been fractured, and her ears are pierced. She may use the last name Tautua.

Details of Disappearance
Walker was last seen at the Jack in the Box restaurant in Fife, Washington on April 2, 2017. Her last post on her social media accounts was nine days later, on April 11, but the accounts have been accessed since then. Her boyfriend claimed he had filed a report several days later, but the police said no report had been filed. Walker was not actually reported missing until September 2017, several months after she was last seen.

Her Social Security number was used to apply to rent three apartments; the last time it was used was in September 2017. She may have traveled to Olympia, Tacoma or West Seattle, Washington after her disappearance.

In spite of her substance abuse problem, Walker's family doesn't believe she would have simply disappeared without contacting any friends or relatives. Few details are available in her case.

Brittany has been missing for more than a year now. Police say she was last seen last year on April 2nd in Fife. Her last post on social media was just nine days later. Her mom said, “We knew something was badly wrong with Brittany, so we reached out to Tacoma police.”

I haven't been on this forum for a long time. At one point I lost access to my account and couldn't recover it. I was researching another case that brought me back, tried to recover my password and it finally worked. There is nothing new on Brittany's case but, I thought I'd add all the info I do know.

Brittany's family situation can be confusing. She has a biological mother and sister. Brittany and her sister were legally adopted at a young age by their paternal aunt Lena. She has cousins by that aunt who are also considered her siblings because of the adoption.
There is sometimes disagreements in the family about who her mother and siblings are. Both Brittany and her biological sister consider their adopted mother/aunt as their mother, and their cousins as siblings.
As teenagers, the reconnected with their biological mother Chasity.
Chasity was the mother who first reported Brittany missing, and raised the funds to put up a missing person's billboard.

Brittany lived in the White Center area of Seattle and this was the last place she was seen. Chasity lived in Tacoma. When Chasity learned that Brittany was missing, she went to the nearest police station to report it. This is why Brittany is considered missing from Tacoma. It's misleading and the report should be transferred to Seattle PD. However, the Tacoma detective on the case hasn't agreed to do that.

There was a private detective/family friend looking at Brittany's case. Days prior to Brittany's disappearance, she met with her mother Lena and their church pastor. She was upset. She said she was involved in bad things. She was scared. She wanted to get out of the situation, and start living a better life. She was not specific about the bad things she was involved in. There were also rumors she was pregnant.

There was a man she had been seeing, that was not her boyfriend. He was also believed to be her pimp. He was a known drug dealer. He was arrested in 2019 and charged on drug related activity. The PI suspected that Brittany may have turned state on him and was possibly in hiding with a baby until his trial. The PI contacted me in 2020 to tell me Brittany did not turn up at the trial as a witness and now believes Brittany is no longer alive.
That was the last I've heard from anyone associated with Brittany.

Police stated they spoke with him because he was already incarcerated at the time they were made aware of Brittany going missing. They went to interview him and he refused to talk and asked for a lawyer. Truthfully my sisters case has been passed from detective to detective. I truly feel she’s fallen through the cracks because of her past…

Please allow me to clear a few things up… chastity is not the one that reported her missing. I did, I’m one of her sisters (adopted). She was staying with me in west seattle at one point however she returned to Tacoma after getting back with her Ex. She came to my house and had us try to help her get a restraining order against him but ended up not going through with it. When Brit was with her ex she wouldn’t talk to anyone hardly because her ex was very controlling and abusive. At the time she went missing she was in the Tacoma/Fife area. On the 15th of April 2017, her ex called me asking if I knew where she was. I was completely thrown off regarding that. I told him I hadn’t heard from her in almost a month. He then told me that him and Brit had been arrested and that she had been released two days before him. He stated that Brit was supposed to go to his mom’s house but never showed up and that a buddy of his saw Brit outside a gas station in Fife. Is that the truth? I don’t know. I asked him if he had called the cops to report her missing, he said not yet and asked me to. I told him he needed to because he knew all the information surrounding her disappearance. He could give them his friends information that apparently saw her. He told me he was going to call after he hung up the phone. It wasn’t until September of 2017 that a family member asked me about Brit brat and I told her about how she’s been missing since April. So the family member asked what police department and I told her Tacoma, she called in for updates. It was maybe 5 minutes and she called me back yelling and telling me the Tacoma police department didn’t have a missing persons report for her. So we called Seattle PD and they also didn’t have one. That’s when we realized her ex never reported her missing like he said he would. So then I called Tacoma police department and officially reported her missing and gave them all the information I had. So yes Tacoma is the correct agency.

In regards to why family didn’t question… I had been told a missing persons report had been filed by her ex.. it wasn’t which we were not aware of until September. That’s when I called and filed the report.
It also wasn’t uncommon to go long periods of time without hearing from Brit when she was with her ex Nate. He got her on drugs and was abusive and controlling.
