Amber Alert activated after 15-year-old abducted in Vancouver

15-year-old Catherine Gutierrez was last seen with 53-year-old Alejandrino Soriano on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Vancouver.

An Amber Alert was activated by Washington State Patrol on behalf of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office on Friday after a girl was abducted in Vancouver.

According to WSP, 15-year-old Catherine Gutierrez was last seen with 53-year-old Alejandrino Soriano on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the area of Northeast 58th Street in Vancouver following an altercation between Soriano and Gutierrez’s mother.

Authorities believe Gutierrez is with Soriano unwillingly.

Gutierrez is 5 feet, 1 inch tall, 215 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie that said “Class of 2021,” blue jeans, and white Nike Air Force One shoes.

Soriano is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he might have been seen wearing last.

The car the two are traveling in is a blue four-door 2004 Honda Accord. The license plate number is unknown, as authorities believe the plates were switched.

Anyone who sees Gutierrez or Soriano is asked to call 911.

An Amber Alert has been canceled for a teenage girl reportedly abducted in Vancouver after authorities say the teen was found safe.

An Amber Alert has been canceled for a teenage girl reportedly abducted in Vancouver after authorities say the teen was found safe.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the 15-year-old girl was taken by Alejandrino Soriano around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two were last seen near Northeast 58th Street following a physical confrontation between the 53-year-old suspect and the girl’s mother, who is also his girlfriend, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Alejandrino reportedly assaulted the mother to the point of causing a concussion. CCSO says the woman also showed detectives various injuries from previous fights, including multiple bruises, a broken finger, and a badly injured arm.

Officials say detectives have established probable cause for Soriano’s arrest for second-degree assault – domestic violence.

Authorities identified the suspect’s car as a blue 2004 Honda Accord 4D with an unknown plate due to it being switched.

Detectives with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Detective Unit located 15-year-old Catherine Gizzel Gutierrez on Sept. 9 in Portland. She was reunited with family. The case continues to be under active investigation. Alejandrino Robledo Soriano was not located. If you have information on his whereabouts, contact 9-1-1.
