Just adding more...the family seems to be real pain and shock. it is now pushing a month.
Is it possible that he has been found, and they are keeping it quiet????

Charlie Burns, 22, lives in Bellingham but his car was found abandoned Sept. 20 at the Capital Mall in Olympia. Since then his family has not heard from him, his cousin, Maeve McLaughlin, told The Herald in an email. Burns is described as weighing 150 pounds and 6 feet, 2 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. Burns is a member of the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra and a nursing student who has no history with cutting off contact with family or running away, according to McLaughlin. “His disappearance is profoundly out of character and has left us devastated and searching for answers,” McLaughlin said.

His missing flyer has phone contact for his parents, as well as the Olympia PD. I've never seen that before.

My first thought was a carjacking but Bellingham to the mall is about 150 miles, a 3 hour drive in typical traffic. If he was carjacked I don't see them driving that far to ditch the car.

The AWARE foundation's missing poster states he was seen in Olympia (presumably leaving the car) Log into Facebook

Nothing on the Olympia Police Department FB page (they don't update very often), nor on the Seattle TV stations such as FOX or ABC. No posts from family other than an aunt CB. who has left comments that he is a nursing student and concert pianist.

The symphony orchestra in Bellingham lists him as a trumpet playet. Musicians

The Thurston County (Olympia) court system was down this morning, here's the link in case one of you wish to try later. I was just checking to see if he'd had a traffic citation in and around the time he went missing to help in establishing a timeline. Nothing in King or Whatcom County traffic wise unless Charlie isn't his legal first name.

My brother is the same age and also lives in Bellingham. He and his friends go back and forth between Portland and Bellingham and everywhere in between fairly often for music and cultural events, concerts, etc. There's a lot going on in and around Olympia in the fall, there was an outdoor concert on September 19th and many others at venues around the county. Is it possible he traveled to attend something like that and something happened? MOO

That is quite plausible. However, if he was going to travel with others to such a venue, why would he leave his car at a mall business parking where it could either be (1) broken into or (2) towed? Unless he was planning on coming back within a day.
