That's good to know! It's also really bright & sunny today though, while Cheryl was there before 7 AM on an overcast day. The dark & shadows grow fast there. I was there at dusk once & was glad I wasn't alone.

I bet that they've upped P&R security & have combed through & cleaned up the park more than once since she went missing. Hope they keep it that way.

they did say they have increased security, i believe, which is good.

I'm not sure how much I can say without quoting SM, so if any portion of this needs to be edited, let me know and I'll correct it to adhere to all policies.

---------

There is now a lot of consistency to the SM posts backing/confirming the one (KWWL) that was recently found by a fellow sleuther.

If the rumor is true, a lot of our theories are invalid. And we probably won't receive updates until the other agency has done their investigation.

can i pm you or will you pm me? im not sure what you mean by sm posts backing confirming that. i havent seen any posts backing that.

so you think the police wouldve said if her car was seen on video a second time if someone else was seen in it? that makes sense. perp couldve wanted to avoid main roads, though, and with that, cameras/eye witnesses. if i committed a crime, i would want to take the least driven routes and avoid people at all costs. i would drive her car down 234th or 235th (whichever one is closer) until i couldnt go anymore, turn right, and just keep going until i found a decent place. i suppose maybe he would drive her car so he wouldnt have her dna in his car and to avoid being caught transferring her from car to car by a neighbor (thats too risky imho). or he would drive his own car so he wouldnt leave his dna in her car and if she was reported missing earlier wouldnt be caught in her car. either way i see being likely. either way has high risk...unless she was already in his car, but then how does that explain the blood in her car. what time was her car found again, noon? so do you not believe she was ever on the trail? the trail leaves good cover to commit a crime, thats why i think it was committed there, plus everything else her family and the police said.

In this scenario, how did her body get to the culvert?

If that person was "in a hurry," why would he ask to ride back to Cheryl's house with her? Or do you mean he is asking her to drive him to the transit center? That's a super-short walk on the woods path, or about 3 blocks via the sidewalk. I'm assuming her car was found on the east side of the street, pointing north, so she's not in a good position to drop someone off at the PnR.

I would find that kind of request totally hinky and say no. I'd think Cheryl would too - she seemed like an intelligent, analytical person.

Not saying it didn't happen - he could have surprised her before she had a chance to answer him, or she was too nice to say no, or any of a million other things. But I don't think it was someone she knew.

There are lots of people who give other people a ride. If you had read my hypothetical scenario, the person asked for a ride after Cheryl said she has to head back home, so obviously the person is not asking for a ride to the transit center.. Maybe they live in the same street as Cheryl, maybe their car or bike is in repair, and they need a ride. Lots of possible scenarios. The thing is, many people let their guard down when it's someone they know (neighbor, for example). Or maybe Cheryl owed them a favor and couldn't say no. Who knows.

Gosh, I just have a hard time believing that she was attacked on that trail either. The park and ride and the overflow parking is within earshot of the trail and one scream and the ant hill of people going to work should hear. I guess she could have been quickly incapacitated but..then drag her to wherever? .. mehhh.. Also can't see that car being moved from the original parking spot, used and returned. I would think the perp would be terrified of being seen in the area or in the car.

I've been thinking............How lucky would the perp have to be to be able to park CD car in the exact spot she had left it? I would think that in the time it took to dispose (ugh) of CD that some other commuter would have already parked in that spot.

bbm

Just want to point out that we don't know whether Cheryl parked her car in the spot it was found in. If the car was parked where it was found by the perp, Cheryl might have parked in a different spot at 7 am. We are assuming it's the spot where Cheryl parked, but really we don't know that.

well, if she was attacked at the trail then her body got to the culvert by car, eithers his or hers. youre right, her car couldve been parked in a different spot on that street. i didnt even consider that for some reason.

I didn't really consider that either until I saw aussiemom's post saying the perp would have been incredibly lucky to get the same spot. That got me thinking.

Yes, the body would get to the culvert in a car, but how it would get into a car? Would the perp (alone?) drag her out of the park to a waiting car? Or drive the car into the park? I really can not picture how that would have happened.

Could you expand on this please?
I seem to be alone in not understanding your cryptic message.

I'm sooo disappointed that there was nothing at all in msm about this! Why? Is there are news gag?

Unfortunately it was a comment made on facebook (yesterday I believe) and can not be discussed here any further.

Not only that but if you look, a lot of family has now locked heir social media down a little.

It seems like they are either preparing for something or just getting overwhelmed by helpful comments.

does anyone know when Cheryl got married to her husband? I know her husband and her knew eachother in high school and such. i may have found some really interesting information. it has nothing to do with her current husband, of course.

you cant really drive a car onto the trail. i posted a few theories earlier about how she couldve been attacked on the trail then ran to her car, or vice versa. or yes...dragged. he may not have even dragged her, he couldve just carried her.

If it is a domestic dispute and divorce in a neighboring county from years ago - it's not her. Wrong initial.
