She never got her badge. Also, I don't think that area is very walkable. She would bus from the transit station. What if she did go to take a bus?

I really don't think so. I can't imagine why she would do that when the whole issue that morning was that she needed her badge. Sorry, I just don't think that happened.
Also, her pants would be all wet, etc. Doesn't make sense to me.

But look at my map and where she was found and where the bus is.

I think it had been raining. I lived in the area. When the weather is that way, people don't want to go for long walks on the way to work. I think we talked about it in the last thread. Was it raining that day I don't think I ever saw the weather report.
I don't think that map does show where she was found. I thought she was found close to the junction (intersection?) of Cedar Way and NE 205th St?
Edited to add - so what is the marker on Cedar Way and 237th Pl SW? I do think I've seen that before but I thought it was the end of where they had closed the road, I don't think it marks the culvert?
Thing is before it morphed into her forgotten badge it was she was running late then it was she left her work at home later it became her forgotten badge.
It was reported she said she would take a bus .....then that was taken back for whatever reason.
Interesting look at where the bus stop is! Right near where she was found
didn't she say she would take a bus!

If the part about her taking the bus was never true, the location of the bus stop is probably moot.
BUT, if it was true, perhaps it was retracted because they are trying to track down a perp she was seeing sitting with/getting off the bus with (either the bus has video or there were witnesses). If she did ride the bus maybe someone sat down next to her with a weapon and ordered her off to rob her, hit her on the head and pushed her into the culvert??? Seems a pretty risky way to rob someone.
I'm back to not discounting suicide with some things I've read here today.
I think the stop is on 236th, 8 blocks north of where she found.
The bus stop near where she was found might be a tangent a bit. The whole reason that there are transit centers set up in the greater Seattle area is to bring the buses/people who are commuting to one central place to bus to popular routes (DT Seattle, for instance). The outlying bus stops typically take local riders (not to downtown) or they connect through the transit center and pick up other riders. It wouldn't be very logical for her to leave her car at a transit hub and then take a "non-express" bus to work.
Where the bus stop might be beneficial is that it could have provided a means for someone to get away. But it still doesn't resolve the question of how she would get there in the first place.
Well I think we can all agree something Tragic happened here...
But it is very baffling.
Occam's Razor is a line of reasoning that says the simplest answer is often correct.
So what would the simplest answer to this be?
I have not seen any questions about her having any enemies.
Any arguments!
What I find ODD (but this is just my feeling) is how involved her workplace was and how they took over everything. Ill say again did she know something? Find out something about someone at work?
Was someone waiting there for her? Anyone follow her?
Just thought my friends just thoughts!
But what do Statistics tell us about crimes like this and adding to it her car was found where it should be or at least close by and so was she... this is what has been baffled. If it were a rapists he would take her to some area much more remote. I just dont get this one. I pray the cops are far better than me at figuring it out.
