Very scant detail in this MP file but potentially fits with the profile of UP5671 (Asian female found in Roy, WA in 2004 with PMI of 1983-2003). At least check of the Roy UID, Choung was not on the ruleout list. WA - Roy, AsianFem 13-30, UP5671, Apr 04

Although slightly outside the age estimate of 22-32 for this Spanaway WA UID with an estimated PMI of 1998-2002, Choung Su would appear to be too tall (UID estimated at 5'0", SC was 5'6"). WA - WA - Spanaway, AsianFem UP5673, 22-32, found by dog, Feb'03 (websleuths.com)

Cornelius filed for divorce in 1992. His full name is Cornelius Winston Mullen.

I wonder why there isn't more information regarding the circumstances of her disappearance.
Who saw her last? What do her family and LE suspect happened?

Their divorce record states they were married in Seoul, South Korea in 1988. He was 55, and she was 18/19.

He was in the navy at some point so I imagine he brought Choung Su over to Washington, likely leaving her family behind. He also has another divorce record with another Korean woman (she divorced him and was half his age). Their marriage lasted from 1981 to 1985, but they married in Washington.

I know this doesn't help much, but I'm personally wary of an old white guy marrying young asian girls. Can't find a mention of him elsewhere beyond him outliving some siblings, so to me it sounds he passed without much of a family.

So, married in Korea in '88, she disappears early '89, he files for divorce in '92?
I would like to know more about the circumstances, especially who reported her missing. I'm also wary of such huge age gaps but is it possible she just used him to get citizenship?
Again, knowing the circumstances would help.
