We have been trying to get them to close the case, but it seems they refuse to do so. They do not want to spend the time, I guess. We, my new niece mostly, have been in contact with them, but nothing has happened. All of the information has been passed over. He was not a good man, a nice person, and we don't feel that he needs the notoriety that he is getting from continuing to be on these lists. I know it may sound strange, but he left a wake of despair everywhere he went. I, myself, and Shannon, my niece, have been contacting the nurmerous sites that have him listed as well. I just recently came across this one, so I contacted you.Thank you, Christi, for the update.
Do you know if the police have closed your father's case? He is still listed as missing on several missing persons' websites, including a Washington state website.
Could a Websleuths member also do some checking? That would be great.
From what I can see, your dad is still officially listed as missing.
Thank you
Tricia
I'm sorry, am I misunderstanding - he had five children born after he disappeared? Did he have five women pregnant at the same time?Hello, I wanted to update you on the case of Christopher Bridgeman. I am one of his children who was born after his disappearance in 1963, one of his 5 children born after he left. I can update you but this case was solved when one of his other grandchildren, actually Rick Bridgeman's daughter, found us. He died from cancer and dementia in May 2010 in Sandpoint, Id. <modsnip: personal, identifying information>
