After this change, I now firmly believe this woman is Barbara Sterbinsky. She matches all the available information. Furthermore the S tattoo on this woman’s chest under the sternum is likely the initial for her family name. Barbara also has family ties to Tacoma.

I am acutely aware that this match has been excluded on NAMUS but she is not listed as an exclusion under Barbara’s NAMUS Profile. I really hope they look again.

In the case of Hector Jose Garcia he was widely believed to be a John Doe found with HJG tattooed on his body until law enforcement excluded him by dna provided by his sister.

This was until @othram came into the picture. It was then proven to be the John Doe who was initially excluded by dna

I could see how Barbara could look to some as Indigenous and she has family ties to Tacoma Washington.

I would be very surprised to find out this isn’t Barbara.

I hope a new recon, ideally with the clothes she was found wearing, in coming out soon.

It would be great if that could start making the rounds.

NAMUS recently added Norma Madera, says missing from Yakima since July 1991, Yakima herald states June 1991.

If they aren’t sure, I wonder if she fits despite being identified as Caucasian.

Norma was last seen at the Greyhound Bus Station in Yakima where she planned to travel to Seattle and then south on Pacific Hwy South to Tacoma. Norma never arrived at her destination and it was not confirmed if she ever made it on the bus in Yakima.

I was able to receive an update from Washington State Police, and it turns out this Jane Doe isn’t Native American at all.

Thank goodness for advancements in DNA Technology!
i came here to suggest Marlene Abigosis as she spent time with men between Vancouver and Washington, but if she is white then there goes that theory.
