Thank you for posting this. At least it gives me an idea of "what" happened at his last plea hearing. And I see it was continued, but doe not look like he changed his plea. Maybe at the next hearing that will change as I see the jury trial is "Tentative" - so they must be expecting a guilty plea. I hope so!

Estela’s remains have been found in a shallow grave in eastern WA as a result from a tip received.

A tip led investigators to the shallow grave of a mother of nine on an arid remote lot in Eastern Washington. The discovery five miles outside of Connell ends a more than four-year search for Estela Torres Rodriguez.

7/11/23 Update: A tip led investigators to the shallow grave of a mother of nine on an arid remote lot in Eastern Washington. The discovery five miles outside of Connell ends a more than four-year search for Estela Torres Rodriguez. Franklin County sheriff’s officials announced the discovery at a news conference Tuesday. They were joined by the county coroner & prosecutor & Torres Rodriguez’s family, still grieving the loss of a woman they have described as “selfless and caring. Clemente Torres Rodriguez but only Clemente has been arrested. He was caught returning to the U.S. from Mexico in September 2019. He remains jailed in Franklin County with a trial set for Aug. 16. His father remains on the run & is believed to be in Mexico. Franklin County released new photos of Tiburcio Larios Rodriguez on Tuesday. On Tuesday, Conner said they are still working to find Tiburcio & asked if anyone has any information on his possible location to call the sheriff’s office. Estela Rodriguez Torres’ remains are being sent to the Washington state forensic anthropologist at the King County Medical Examiner’s Office in hopes of determining how she died.

Evidence at the scene of her home about 6 miles north of the town suggested foul play, leading detectives with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office to suspect that both her son and her estranged husband had something to do with her disappearance.

Still, her family had for years clung to hope, said Commander Marcus Conner during a Tuesday news conference. Hope that she was still alive; hope that she had decided to flee an abusive relationship and find a new life.

But on Tuesday, those hopes were dashed when the sheriff's office announced that a tip lead detectives to discover the remains of a body that they believe to be the 54-year-old woman.

"I know that Estela's daughters and others have been hoping we were wrong, like many families would," Conner said before media in a news conference streamed on Facebook. "They wanted so badly to believe their mom was still alive and had simply left the area to start a new life, but in the back of their minds, they knew that the evidence clearly pointed to a different outcome."

Just looked on the court site & it has nothing for the 16th. Only the 15th & 17th & he is not on any of these. So I shall wait until tomorrow to see what it says.
