Any more info on this truck, were they able to get fingerprints and run them through the system? Was the truck stolen?

Who in this world gets up, goes out at 8:15 on a Sunday morning and shoots 4 innocent police officers dead as they sit having coffee? There was NO provocation, not that there ever would be justification for shooting public safety officers.

I haven't heard any more about the vehicle. I am in hopes that they find the perp soon and I just have a feeling they will.

I'm sorry. I get upset when a LE officer is killed. I was friends with a couple and the husband, police officer was killed in a gun battle following a hold up.

I hope they realize that every single life that comes near this perp is in danger. Spree killers and mass murderers often don't expect to live through the attack. These people might be on the run, or they might just be reloading to move on to the next target. I hope not, and I hope they are caught fast. This is tragic on so many levels.

Ed Troyer, Pierce Co. Sheriff's office giving another update now. Until LE gets more information, they won't be able to say they have a POI. Still following up on leads. Suspect had entered the coffee shop, stood at the counter pretending to be ordering something and opened fire.

LE has arrested the dimwit who called 911 claiming to be the shooter. Charged with obstruction and everything else they could throw at him. Good.

Also stated that an employee saw his gun, as he stood at the counter and ran out the back door.

Officer struggled with shooter.

A procession of LE is forming to escort the fallen hero's to their destination. Two ladder trucks have set up in the lot at the Forza cafe, and their ladders form the telltale arch.....I hope they catch that sob.

A man walked in to St. Joseph's Hospittal with a gun shot wound and left prior to police being able to arrive. Unknown if it was the suspect.

It sounds like the 2 officers sitting with their backs to him, he may have been able to shoot execution style, maybe the other 2 facing him are the ones who tried to respond.
I wonder if the killer was recently released from prison.
If cops from different jurisdictions gather at the coffee shop to "swap info", maybe it was known by some criminals and they didn't like it.

Hopefully the wounded perp will die of infection.

At 6 p.m. there will be a prayer service for the community. One of the firefighters that responded to the killings this morning called the pastor to arrange it.
