Those poor neighbors. Imagine, a loud speaker after midnight! I don't think those newsmen are going to want to stay out inthe cold for long. We have sports on for 1/2 hour, can you imagine when this is going on!

I think of all these family members and how awful this has to be for them. I wonder why he picked these 4 officers. And I wonder if he is the man who killed the other Seattle cop? Could be, and maybe he had a grudge or beef against these particular cops. They said he has something like a degrading mentality - like his brain has lost allot of it's function. And I bet he still has his gun, although as far as we know he might have bled out already. Maybe the lady leaving the house who said he was in there was his Aunt. This lady was leaving the house and stopped by officers. xox

Now that would be great if the Aunt got away. Maybe he did die from the gunshot wound.

His mental issues... getting the family and kids up at 3 or 4 am to undress ? And telling them "the world's going to end, but it's OK because I am Jesus". My Lord.

He is NOT the killer of Officer Timothy Brenton. His killer was apprehended and is in the hospital

The man has lost it. It sounds like a psychotic break to me. These things don't happen overnight, either. My guess is that his early crimes were due to mental instability also. This guy should NOT BE OUT!!

She told them that "Maurice is not in his right mind and did not know how he could react when contacted by Law Enforcement," a sheriff's report says."She stated that he was saying that the secret service was coming to get him because he had written a letter to the President. She stated his behavior has become unpredictable and erratic. She suspects he is having a mental breakdown," the report says. Deputies also interviewed other family members. They reported that Clemmons had been saying he could fly and that he expected President Obama to visit to "confirm that he is Messiah in the flesh."

Why can't we listen to family members who are concerned about their loved ones? They often can tell us so much. Have you ever noticed how rarely family members are shocked in a case like this?

scandi--It's been reported that the man who killed the officer on Halloween is still in the hospital in stable condition. This is definitely another monster.

This guy is a real crazy and I'll be so thankful he is off the street and in the slammer now. Either that or he is dead and LE doesn't know that as they have not stormed the house, I don't believe. It could be why no answer, right?

Shortly before 2 a.m., police gave whoever was in the house an ultimatum to come out in 20 minute, but got no response in that time.

Then there was a series of flash-bangs, distraction devices which can temporarily blind a suspect, followed by what appeared to be tear gas.

I am looking at the same and am reading that they (LE) are getting very close to the trailer.

"An electronic tracking bracelet police believe Clemmons was wearing at the insistence of the bail-bond company was found cut off by police on Sunday, Troyer said. Clemmons is believed to have associates who have helped him evade police in the past, Troyer said."

Who are these associates? Nice to know a monster like this has buddies to help him out. That's not fitting with the psychotic break, for me. JMO
