It is bothersome that police believe he went to or was at the aunt's house and it is so close to water. Scanner indicates they are really checking marinas. Sure hope he did not has access to a boat and get to one on the San Juan islands. There are so many properties with docks that are vacation homes, not regularly occupied. LE might not find him for quite some time.

Yes, and as a person living on one of those islands, I'm not feeling especially safe today.

"LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- Police searching for the killer of four Lakewood officers gunned down in a suburban coffee shop used a loudspeaker and explosions early Monday morning to prod a man apparently holed up in a Seattle house to give himself up.
Police have surrounded an area in Seattle’s Leschi neighborhood at 32nd and Yelser, where police believe Maurice Clemmons was dropped off Sunday, bleeding from wounds, said KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Amy Clancy.
Officers surrounding the house shone lights on the house and called out to Clemmons by name, saying: "Mr. Clemmons, I'd like to get you out of there safely. I can tell you this, we are not going away."
