Garrett Briggs, 37, was reported missing on Jan. 30 after being seen in the evening of Jan. 29, where he told friends he was heading under the Blackjack Creek Bridge on Lund Avenue in Port Orchard, the Port Orchard Police Department said in a press release issued on Thursday, seeking help in searching Briggs.

Any time I hear of a missing person last known to be at or near a bridge, I worry about their mental state. I hope Garrett is located safely soon.

The bridge in this photo looks different than the one posted above, but it's more recent (2018) and reports that there have been 2 suicide jumps from the Blackjack Creek Bridge.

@azure I think the one you posted is the correct one, as it's at Lund St. The one I posted I think is Bay Street? Thanks for finding that. The Lund St Bridge is a lot more worrisome than the pedestrian walkway...
