Circumstances of Recovery: Partial skeletal remains found on a lakeshore in rural Grant County.

"Human remains found near Coot Lake Ephrata, Wash. The Grant County Sheriffs Office is investigating the discovery of human skeletal remains near the shore of Coot Lake in the Seep Lakes recreation area. A fisherman found the skull Saturday, and investigators found a partial skeleton on Sunday. Undersheriff Michael Shay said the county coroner planned to hire a forensic anthropologist to determine the age and gender of the person, as well as the approximate time of death. No cause of death has been determined, Shay said."

It looks like Glenn Eugene Thompson (MP20399) could be a potential match (also missing out of grant county) but he is believed to have went into the Columbia river.
