Presumed Located WA- Gregory D. Thompson, 69, Medical Lake, Spokane County, 13 May 2019

Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate 69-year-old Gregory D. Thompson. Thompson has not been seen since Monday at 7:00 p.m. and his family is very concerned for his welfare.

On May 13, 2019, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a missing person call in Medical Lake. A family member of Gregory D. Thompson reported Thompson left a note at his residence saying goodbye, and hasn’t been seen since Monday evening.

Deputies located Thompson’s unoccupied vehicle on the southwest side of Medical Lake, near the park. A search by Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue, including Air 1, has not yet been able to locate Thompson.

Gregory D. Thompson is described as a white male, approximately 5’06”, 155 lbs., with white/gray shoulder-length hair, hazel eyes and wears wire frame glasses. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and possibly a black zippered jacket.

The lake got it's name from the fact that the local Native Americans thought the lake and its mud had healing properties (Medical Lake, Washington - Wikipedia)
