Thank you and hello again marcyjoy! I need to proofread my posts better (I meant endured not injured). Yes, I couldn't figure out how he found the pruning saw - it's not something I would think would be visible unless he went searching through the house after the fact - or if he had helped her before with gardening. I read an article that said he was supposed to help his ex with lawn work (or maybe the sister?) so I thought maybe Ingrid offered it at some point and it was out. I just don't get the feeling that if this was all planned, he'd leave the weapon to chance and see what he could find while there. He had to know beforehand it was there. I just thought it was odd that yard work was mentioned and then the tool ended up being a pruning saw.

I would think that the saw would be something she kept in her garage . After he killed her, I imagine he went into the garage to look for something to dismember her .
In the last article I read , it said that detectives found significant physical evidence in the house. I'm guessing that scene may have been more gruesome than first reported. I would imagine that it would have to be!

IF he was a day laborer (as he said) IF he had a truck to store tools in (as an unconfirmed source has been quoted) it may be likely he had a pruning saw in that truck. If he brought it with him to her house after stopping at sisters bar, then this case should be a slam dunk. Premeditaded. I know that is a lot of 'ifs'. Her mom may have made a statement about a pruner not belonging in the bathroom (duh) but I wonder if it was even her pruner.

Sorry all as usual I'm late to the thread and catching up on thread #1. I read about the Instagram post about leaving the window open for Peter Pan and instantly triggered something I just read about. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puer_aeternus#Peter_Pan_syndrome

I am not insinuating she posted this about JC or she was looking for the Peter Pan version referred to in my link. It's just odd because JC by what I have read is a classic example of Peter Pan Syndrome. Ok going back to reading.

I should add to my post. There is always a crowd of day laborers looking for work in Belltown in the AM. Any of them may have been known to him and had a truck with tools.

Yes, I do my son has schizoaffective disorder and bi-polar with psychotic episodes. I have been involved with MI and I've very familiar with the system. Laws, Psychiatrists, hospitals, jails, prisons for 13 years. Last case I remember off the top of my head who was sentenced to state hospital on NGRI was John Hinckley Jr.

Wow .... Sorry to hear that, White. It must be challenging, to say the least.

Anyway, two that come to mind are Andre* Yat*s and Fr*d G*in (Texas Cha*nsaw).

Hello, Everyone! First time posting!

One (sorry so gruesome) question: how long does it take to drain a body before dismembering it? Couldn't he have drained her body neatly in the bathtub and washed all the blood down the drain before even starting to cut her? Depending on how long it takes (it would have to fit into that 4 hour window) and whether or not he had any hunting knowledge or experience, it seems like a possible explanation.

Also, it seems to me that the dismembering was a gratuitous thing, not a necessitous thing. I mean, the odds would have been equally as good that she had a suitcase in her closet as having a pruning saw in her shed. And dropping a suitcase in a downtown dumpster would have been as easy to find or not find as disposing of her in multiple recycling bins. IMO. I think he enjoyed the act of dismembering.

Phew. Finally caught up.

Just chiming in on the blackout/alcoholic side - I was married to a high-functioning alcoholic. The only thing that I ever saw make him less than "normal" was a Halloween party where he drank 90% of a BIG bottle of Scotch. Other than that one time in 8+ years of marriage I never saw him compromised. Alcoholics usually can drink a TON before they show it and (eventually) black out. My opinion only.

Watching NG today Dr on the show said same thing I posted that psychopaths can get sexual gratification from the dismemberment.

I am very well going to regret posting this so if you're squeamish scroll on by....[emoji17]

I honestly don't think it would take long to do this. From looking at her photos, she was a tiny woman, I'm guessing size 0-2. Dismembering a body would really only take 5 cuts max (arm, arm, leg, leg, head) maybe 7 if at the knees as well) and would seem relatively simple if cut at the joints. I imagine he put her in the bathtub and started running the water or shower and everything flows right down the drain. I'm certain he probably used some towels to wipe up and discarded them with the rest of the body. As for clothes, perhaps he did it in his underwear (BARF!) and took a shower afterwards, got dressed and left?

I am inclined to believe there was no visible mess. Remember the police were there with her mother and everyone eventually left. I'm sure had they witnessed a crime scene, the home would have immediately been taped off. Instead, they came back later in the evening with a search warrant and broke the door down to get in.

JMO. Sorry for the graphics. [emoji52]

Hi Tara joan , great point. If this guy had studied hunting, I can't imagine him hunting. He's a <modsnip> boy that preys on the weak. That said, a deer takes hours to completely bleed. Then it's hanging upside down, not laying down. Gratuitous, I completely agree. There was no need for that. Unless he was such a weakling he couldn't even get her to the car.

WARNING GRAPHIC

I wonder how he put her torso in a bag. I would think it would be quite heavy and wouldn't all her entrails fallout where he cut. Cutting through bone seems difficult too. What a morbid evil monster!!!

Sorry [emoji30][emoji23][emoji26][emoji120]

And we don't even know how she died yet ! Was she stabbed ? Was she shot? I mean... The injuries that caused her death could have provided a mass amount of blood.... On top of the horrific dismemberment.
There are a lot of good points , on either side , of the pre meditation aspect. Personally, I am not sure yet- I do suspect a evil rage came over him... But the dismemberment?! That's extreme. To me, that takes some type of planning... Especially in the house of another person.
And where is the rest of her poor body?
Homicidal violence was the cause of death. I'm sure they can't be much more specific until they find the rest of her remains.

Exactly- I would think that that there would be a significant bloody mess to clean up- regardless if she was "small" or not.
Wonder what size the bags were ?
I can only imagine that the rest of the pieces of her are probably in the same area as where some of her remains were found.
This makes me so sick.

I guess I mean the "manner of death" (stab wound, gunshot wound, blunt force trauma)- I always get the two confused.

I agree about the <modsnip> boy that preys on the weak comment, though he grew up in Idaho in what appears to be a ranch-type house. he could easily have hunting knowledge. I grew up in a rural area and saw my share of deer hanging/draining in garages even though i did not grow up in a hunting family.

That I think has to wait until they find the rest 😟

I agree and you are concurring with what I posted.
However, in this particular case.....I have a hunch that there will significant findings with our murderer & his lawyers will push that envelope.
I'm sure you know the benchmark of proving an insanity plea goes waaaay beyond "knowing right from wrong".

Moo

He was so methodical in the cleanup and disposal. I guess I equate insanity with being harebrained. And I don't know why. I just do. I don't associate insanity with the degree of logic he applied to the scene.
