Omg O/T but apparently my aunt's neighbor, a 40-something mom, didn't come home from work this evening... Her daughter had dance and had no one to take her! Now they're driving around looking for her... Wow, praying this doesn't turn into another missing WA mom...

Did they call 911? It is really important to call 911 and get things moving before looking yourself. This goes with missing children too.
We don't mind "false alarms".

Look at the good looking actor Daniel Wozniak who was just convicted here in OC after 5 years killing his good friend chopping off and burying his head and also killing his GF. He had no prior record. He did it for money to pay for his wedding.

Her home is on Camus Ave ne in Renton. Looks like it's east of the lake and just a bit up in the "highlands" area (nicer part). Please forgive me if I'm totally wrong, everyone, lol, I'm not so well-versed with Renton, just used to shop there.

Idk the exact address, maybe it's being protected since her children do live there. Amazingly, when I typed just the street into google maps, a map of Ingrid's events popped up! I don't claim to understand the majesty of Google, but did one of you do this!?

It depends. Typically the detectives interview suspects or witness and develop a picture of possible locations.

There's sort of two search scenarios we would deploy under, one is a more full blown remains search, with a lot of people, grid search, HRD dogs; the other is more tactical with just a few HRD/cadaver dog teams at key locations.

The FBI also has great HRD dogs, with their national program put together by one of our local K9 SAR senior trainer/handlers.
I don't see this as an FBI case though I could be wrong.



I haven't seen a specific map, I know there are roughly the four points (ball game, victim's home, car abandoned, recycling can location) - they're all local to me. I think one thing I would say is this guy was clearly in a hurry and/or not very bright. A better location would have been a big industrial dumpster, or further into trees somewhere. So I'd say you'd be looking somewhere quick and obvious, like other trash/recycling cans.

IIRC there are larger pieces missing, so this is more likely getting out of the car and unloading them somewhere vs tossing them while moving. (so that makes bridges, overpasses etc less likely)

Because this is local to me, and I'm still posting here, you can assume I don't have any knowledge of the case.

Thank you... I appreciate your insight and expertise. Makes me think about things a little differently. I have been a little surprised there haven't been reports of any organized searches.

So an ex from Montana and the recent ex both said he was violent. Also a friend said he became a diff person on drugs and alcohol. Cleary there was a pattern.

I live close to where this happened!! They never did find the head so his poor father had to bury him without one. Can you imagine fighting in the Iraq war to come home and be murdered by your best friend. Another monster among us.

I had forgotten how chilling it was. It was released in 2001. In 2006 he is threatening his parents with it. That is 5 years of it just, in a fit of rage, walking over to it, and pulling it out for his parents. In context, that is actually quite chilling, in terms of 5 years later it being "in" his mind. You know what I am attempting to say!

In a way, as more emerges, and we disecet, it almost seems like "denial" to think that he "may" have killed before- 4 hours to do "it", pause, cleaning, showering dressing loading ...... there seems to be a skill set here in terms of being able to do all that in 240 minutes.

Ummmmmm done before, IMO Practice makes............

i suppose the only good thing here is we know where he is .

So, most of the police dogs are either the protection/attack trained kind, or gun/drug/explosive or both.
I'm not aware of SPD having any HRD dogs, because they call us.
Now it might be they can get a scent of the suspect and track where he went dropping the remains off.

So if there were HRD dogs involved, they'd be SAR (or FBI).

It may be obvious but might I ask what SAR stands for, and HRD dogs? T.Y.

Here is some info to start for Idaho arrests.

Sheriff Jeffries said law enforcement in eastern Idaho are checking cold case files to see if any people were reported missing during the time Charlton was in the area. There are no such reports in Power County.

“I hope they don't have any victims, but if they have anyone missing, they should take a look,” Jeffries said.
