GG mentioned the his biggest dislike is people smiling all the time. I don't take that SM site where he posted seriously, but someone mentioned that the running joke in his family was that he never smiled.

Who smiled a lot? Little Jenise.

Jenise's family (despite criticism from others) looks HAPPY and smiling. They look like a close-knit group. Even after this tragedy, they are not lashing out at others who criticize them and are not lashing out at GG. They are sad...but they are together. They are respectfully asking for their kids back. They are family and they not falling apart from each other but pulling together.

What do we know about GG's family? There has been a divorce -he lives with his mom and step-dad. Of course, divorce doesn't necessarily lead to unhappiness in kids, but perhaps there is discord in the family.

Perhaps GG is enraged by the happiness and togetherness he sees in the Wrights and consciously OR subconsciously wants to destroy it.

JUST SPECULATION on my part....just mulling this over and searching for a motive.

Again, the bathtub played a role in ARS's coverup as well. Re: the blood stained clothing, do we know that the blood was on clothing that had not been washed already? In other words, it is possible he washed the clothes, but there were still blood stains, maybe even not visible to the naked eye? If LE knew what GG might have been wearing on Saturday or Sunday, they could have specifically requested those particular clothing items? I've seen this in other cases.

And another reason perhaps that LE wanted camera shots from neighbors, not only to see if she was in the shots and what she was wearing, but what HE was wearing both Sat and Sun :moo:

I think he picked Jenise and the Family as they were the perfect pick. Jenise had freedom. Did he know of the Dad's prior trouble? Sociopaths attach themselves to folks they have something to gain from. Sadly IMO it was poor little Jenise.

Oh, let me tell you, my folks would be sticking the qtip in my mouth and handing it over to police. GG may have been acting as he did because he was freaking out. As well, I think it was just beginning to dawn on his mother that her son could have done this. Maybe she stalled because she wanted one last chance to speak to her son so she could be reassured by him that he didn't do it. I can almost understand the stalling. They were about to face the unspeakable as a family.

I am agreeing with you on the 2nd possible perp. I wondered initially if it were a group of 'kids' partying and she stumbled across them. That does not seem to be the case. But I'm also relying on a ' rumor ' and wondering if he and another neighborhood 'kid' planned this loosely. Or they made comments and talked about it while kid no. 2 thought ' yea yea, whatever, dude, you're crazy' , but just went along with it ONLY in the talking stage . Kid no 2 did not ever think anything would come of it so he just thought of it as idle chat and GG"s kooky but probably not really planning to do anything. So these 2 are seen around town , chatting up the girls, regardless of their age and on this night/ day GG says ' yes lets do that now' and kid 2 is like " he** no, are you insane ?'' But GG follows through . ** Speculative 100% **

ETA I do not have any clue who imaginary Kid No 2 might be. I haven't sleuthed or looked into it at all, just speculating out loud.

Earlier in the thread it was mentioned that a girl was killed many years ago (1988?) in those same woods by a transient. He bashed her skull in with a rock IIRC. What if GG had developed sick fantasies about that killing? Could possibly explain the way he treated little Jenise. IOW I'm not sure the older crime wasn't in some way related to this one. MOO

or if just became one of those grisly local stories that people liked to relive around campfires ((especially young people)) could have fueled some imaginations for sure....

Phew if I told my parents I didn't feel like doing so and so :freakedout:...they would have given me a harsh word or two about respecting LEO.

My kids when they were young knew not to makes excuses to me and their dad. We would have told them to stand up, shut up and open up for the buccal swab.

My heart has gone out to the Wright family since the very beginning but Mr. JW has had extraordinary bad luck with the phrasing of his words. From the spoiled brat comment to the forgiveness and then the mentoring and now the unfortunate used of "kills" and "dead" in the latest public comment. I think this is what the OP meant with her post. With so much vitriol against this family he really needs to use caution in his public terminology. I believe reuniting this family is crucial to all their healing processes.

Exactly. I cannot imagine my parents allowing me to be so distraught that I couldn't help LE with a missing child case. Unimaginable. It leads me to wonder about the relationships and dynamics in that family.....

You may be right, but as a friend of the family's, GG had access to her anyway. Her family trusted him (that was a mistake more than the roaming, imo, but how could they have known??). I think the timing of this particular weekend is more telling than her free-roaming the neighborhood.

My folks would have made sure LE got whatever they needed before they left. I do wonder if the Mom was beginning to realize that her son could have done this and wanted more time to talk to him alone.

I also wondered if maybe she thought the procedure was complicated like a needle being involved, although I am sure that LE probably explained it was just a cotton swab in mouth.

The only good thing about how it went down was that LE knew when they left that they definitely needed to check out the boy much more now. Their radar honed in on the boy after that visit.

J was a small girl. If she doesn't make her bed in the mornings, the blankets and pillows could have been all bunched up and parents could have just thought she was there under them. That would account for her being gone the next morning.

She shared a room with her siblings. They would have noticed her not being in bed. Although I agree that the crime probably happened very late Saturday, I do believe she made it to her bed that night. What happened next is only known to two people. If the information is good enough for LE to believe, then it's good enough for me. MOO

Remember the case where the young man was masturbating to , and then a child in the house wound up dead or missing? Or am I getting that case confused. Unfortunately these types of cases happen 1 to many times and my mind gets all confused. Anyways the thought pop in my mind from a pp who mention he might have had his lap top with him. Or it could of been a want to come watch a movie with me to Jenise.

I think it is so cute that the parents split there name to make Jenises name. So sweet. I understand there are people who are upset with the dad, but we have a whole family with siblings to remember that are in so much pain.

That reminds me of another little girl that had a split name.
