Too late. I'm already there. A good number of my family, too.

ETA this case made me physically ill after I read probable cause report. I remembered why I don't usually follow missing child cases.

Don't go there - we'll all end up in therapy. :(

Yes, that is what I was thinking. A friend of Jenise's was taking care of her cat for her. Not sure where I read it.
Happy to hear that. I remember reading she loved to cuddle with her kitty. As it should be.

Hmmm missing animal. Any strange fires in the mobile home community in the last little while? Animal cruelty and setting fires are part of the triad of behaviors that lead to violent sexual and homicidal behavior. JMO
The cat is no longer missing.

Honest question- do you guys think or know if LE surfs our boards? Do we actually help their investigation ever? That would be so cool.

Yuri Melich, one of the detectives on the Casey Anthony case came onto WS.

Melich started blogging when other bloggers started complimenting him. He told bloggers he was sleuthing the web secretly looking for clues in the case. But after he saw a lot of flattering stuff about himself, he posted on http://www.websleuths.com/ as Dick Tracy Orlando to thank bloggers for their kind words.

Also, many time what WS poster would post would show up on HLN almost word for word after one of us posted an idea or thought.

And we're pretty sure the defense in Jodi Arias was reading here.

Can someone blackout the email address on that lost cat photo? Just concerned that people might directly email the family with harassing or threatening content.
I removed the photo with the email address. I'm on my phone and not able to edit the photo.

Who is Richard Ramirez?

The Night Stalker. Omg, I was in LA during that time. Truly terrifying.

Talk about someone who looooooooked like a serial killer!

I think it was from a local, someone was watching the cat and someone else the dog.

So wait- it seems so clear- he did this to retaliate against the dad.... And for what reason? Rage because his father lived so far away? Some sort of dad issue?

I think the psychological reasons could go very deep, and possibly not even be directly related to the dad.

I appreciate all of your deep, thoughtful takes on this case. You have such wisdom! I don't know that I have even made it to the level of truly sleuthing yet. But I'll share what I have right now because I believe there are others who are fairly paralyzed like me.

I mentioned my boys earlier, 20yo twins. Older by two minutes, W is bipolar and has a temper that won't quit but he's also not capable of supporting himself, extremely immature and sometimes so sensitive and sweet that it hurts my heart. P is autistic and schizophrenic. He was so full of rage from about 2 to 15 that I absolutely knew he would kill me. He broke my nose when he was 4 and controlled our home for so many years. Then he fell in love with God and got even more introspective and stopped being violent. Both are a lucky moment away from hurting someone depending on how severe they are even at any given time although they are med-compliant all the time. I have protected them every moment from their premature birth through this very day.

When I see Jenise, I don't even like to use her initials. She is beautiful and full of life and absolutely joyous. I feel like I can see her running throughout the neighborhood, giving other moms dandelions she picked.

When I think of GG, there is no name, only initials. I actually had to stop to figure out his name. To me, he exercised tremendous self-control all the time. I have no idea how tall he is but he is small to me with very big muscles, almost like he is bursting at the seams. I think he had to work hard to be as good as the others and to fit in. I think he was quiet at school but like my W, but probably not that way at home. But one day for some reason, he lost control. He would have eventually anyway but it happened when he was a child. The courts may call him an adult but a 17yo boy isn't a grown-up.

Both of their lives are over and their families have to shift and find a new way. Was it his one unlucky moment to hurt someone? Was he tired or suddenly unable to keep it all in?

She was beautiful, happy and free and now she's gone. He was broken and hidden and how he will pay for not getting help or keeping it in for the rest of his life.

The loss of both of them breaks my heart. Like Alanna Gallagher, she was a sweetheart with the smile that could make you cry. He, like Tyler Holder, turned into a monster because he couldn't show what he was holding in and nobody knew that he needed help or they did and didn't know how to help.

Just like any parent can't be glad for those wonderfully joyous 6 years that ended violently and suddenly, I can't be glad that he's going to be locked up for the rest of his life because I believe he has been emotionally that way for too long already.

I hurt for both of them and those that love them.

From one twin mom of boys to another :peace:

You are a rock star :blowkiss: Your boys are blessed to have you as their mom

This picture warms and breaks my heart. Thank you for posting it. It's good to be reminded of who Jenise was aside from talking about the details of her murder.

It's just an overwhelming sense that something is very very wrong. It makes me feel that shaky/anxious/bottom falling out feeling when I get really anxious. Only it's like a more sick feeling.

I can't stop reading about it because I feel like there is something being missed.

I feel that same exact way...

One thing I have wondered about is, why doesn't GG have a kidnapping charge? I realize other charges could be pending/in the works but it seems so obvious that kidnapping played a role in all of this, wouldn't you think? I have tried to think out reasons/scenarios of why kidnapping would NOT be a factor and I just cannot come up with any, rather I should say, any that make sense. For example, even if GG was given permission 'per-say' to have Jenise in his care, wouldn't kidnapping still play a role due to the nature of this crime(s)?? Any thoughts?

Double post.

It shows Jenise's mom was following that account.

ETA I snipped this to leave out the part about a minor.

I am Twitter-dumb, is it normal for parents to "follow" the friends of their teenage kids? I can only relate to it as far as my older kids and another social media site, we aren't friends with any of their friends through that site, parents of friends--yes. Can anyone tell me if this is just a normal thing?

I'd never open follow. Sleuth/ stalk their page? Sure, to get hints about what's going on. But openly follow? Not me.

It is not what I do, but, I do have friends who do follow or friend their teen child's friends. Maybe a way to keep tabs on them? Or in this case, is it because they truly looked at GG as part of the family?
