Question...the photo and interview in the vehicle with GG driving and his mother speaking....when it was first released there was no picture of his face....lately the picture is released showing his face....anyone know why it was not released at first? TIA if anyone knows.

I also noticed that the other person interviewed WAS named, yet, GG's mom was NOT named in the interview.

OH! Thought! Curious they are waiting on tox testing results. I do not know if that is normal with a victim so young. Yes, I know with older people its' become routine to see if they took anything , drank, etc. But now I wonder if GG is at their home Sat night and maybe slipped the kiddos something like robitussin or nyquil or something. Maybe that's why the tox and maybe that's why the other kids slept soundly through whatever happened. **speculative**

ETA This ^^^ doesn't even jive with my own theory that it was completely unplanned, last minute, opportunistic, etc. Just throwing it out there for food for thought.

Maybe checking to see if there's anything he could have given to her. Like a drug or sedative.

My boys have same voice. Same DNA.
So far, the only obvious differences are handwriting and hair texture. (They are 20)

(I don't know this, I am just guessing) When the interview was first aired, there was no suspect, and GG had not been named in MSM. He is a minor, and at the time as far as anyone knew, unrelated to the crime. So they cropped him out of the final version that was aired. After GG was charged as an adult for the crime, and LE released his name to the media, it was then acceptable to show the uncut version which shows his face.

Her quote has perplexed me, but now I'm wondering if she is baffled by the father's 10pm bedtime account. Maybe she's thinking Jenise couldn't have been in bed at 10pm because we were still all outside together. If Jenise were at home at 10pm, that means she walked alone and we normally never do that.

She doesn't come out and say, "Yes, Jenise was with us at 10pm." So....was Jenise with GG at 10pm? That's my guess.

I'm sure LE has already gone over all this but 1.) the teens there that night would have already told LE what Jenise was wearing (not to mention, they'd be able to see it for themselves in videos on the phone), 2.) who she was last seen with and 3.) roughly what time she went home/or the last time they remember seeing her.

I will assume no one thought anything of who she was last with, because it was someone she knew, and someone they all knew: GG. Not sleuthing the teens at all, but THEY know more than anyone else does, since they were the last to see her (aside from GG).

I can't find the link, and I'm hoping someone else remembers reading (or seeing in a video?) that teen girl MP lives between GG and the Wrights. I'm wondering if MP was normally the one who made sure Jenise got home, and if her Mom was still leery of GG.

Has it ever been said why GG's mother did not go down to the police station when they took her son?

It may be, at that point, mom has to realize that her child is no longer her baby, but now in a heap of trouble bigger than life itself! Poor mom, another devasted lost mother who is full of guilt for what her son did to an innocent child. So sad.

I think she had been aware of or at least had an inkling of what was to come since the moment he was "too distraught" to give a DNA sample. The arrest was probably a relief in a sense.

I think it's because what was recovered as evidence in the probable cause doesn't exactly fit with what's been reported.

GG was told to stay away from the 11 & 12 yr old daughters of WP (one of which is mentioned frequently in msm articles speaking about Jenise), 2 years ago. He didn't, they were friends on social media until last week when things went dark.
Jenise was by all accounts out & about every day, yet no confirmed sightings of her on Sunday at all. She didn't knock on anyone's door, she didn't eat lunch at anyone's house.
LE was told "pink top, jeans, flip flops" on Sunday afternoon. We know that's not true since she wasn't around Sunday at all, and the last known clothing items were shorts, not pants.
GG's parents say he was home all weekend but we know that's not true either. At some point he was gone for quite a while, as we know.
One msm article says Jenise's usual time to come around looking for people to play with is around 9:30 in the morning. Dad says she wasn't in bed at 7am Sunday and that was unusual for her to be out that early.

There are just so many pieces that don't fit, at all. I believe some of the times reported have not been accurate. Whether by accident or intentional, is anyone's guess at this point. One thing I do know for sure is that if I were one of the people asking GG questions about this, I'd be asking WHEN this all went down. Exact day and time. I think once we all know that (and I assume we will, eventually) this is going to go an entirely different direction.

ALL MOO and tons of speculation/theorizing, of course.

this is where I am ''fuzzy'' -- I believe that statement but there is ''wiggle'' room (MOO) as parents may not have been home all weekend and didn't feel obliged to reveal that to LE ..... they were asked about their son's actions not theirs so that leaves some ''gray'' areas to their alibi for GG (just MOO). Routine departures by one or both parents could have been forgotten simply because they believed their son to be at home if they left for some reason (getting fuel or grocery shopping for example).

IMO, her parents knew it too but were afraid to mention it because they did not want LE digging into their lives.

Just what if the parents had sounded the alarm JW was missing at 10:00 PM on Saturday night when most parents would have noticed their little 6 year old child was not inside from playing??

Initially what was shown on tv was the edited version of the brief interview where his face was not shown, but just the mom's. Once he was named publicly the full(er) version was available where you could see he face, but I've never seen it, and can't seem to find a link to it.

:moo: because he was a minor? I'm still thinking that media, after instances like this for those that cover stuff like this, are well knowing that they can perhaps document something that will come later as KEY in a case once they review after the fact. :moo:

I doubt JW went to bed. I bet she was out playing with the other kids in the neighborhood and went off with GG. I do not think he had any help at all or even shared his plans with anyone (I think that happens in movies but in real life, if someone walks away from something like that, they report it-ie Tyler Hadley's friend) but I do not think GG drugged anyone. I think he committed a brutal sadistic rape in his car and then a bludgeoning in the woods. Everything else seems too elaborate. It didn't seem planned, it seemed impulsive.

I can't see a teen boy up so early in the morning (before 7 am) UNLESS he asked Jenise to come to his house early (or meet him somewhere) and to keep it a secret. Maybe he asked Jenise to meet him after 10 pm on Saturday? I just can't believe no one saw her walking around that night or morning though. I'm sure people are up early for work, walking their dog, etc.

Unanswered questions: where were JW parents that night and when did they go to bed? If someone opened the door to the home, would it make any noise to alert them?

The teens interviewed and appearing on camera or in print must have signed a media release form and the parent signed as well. JMO
