Wow & wearing the same clothes as in the car interview. He looks so depressed here, barely able to function. *eye roll*

I'm almost sure I saw this pic much earlier on . Could it be an older pic that was re posted ? I mean if I put up a pic from last Christmas today, it would say posted today even though it's an older one. Hmm.

I think it is really difficult and inappropriate to make any kind of comparison or diagnosis with the limited information we have at this point. Additionally, an accurate assessment is very lengthy and takes a lot of time. Jmo
This is WS, I don't see the problem. jmo

IMO no way. He may have us scratching our heads, but this crime was commited prior to sunrise on August 3. moo
I am sure he thought the parents wouldn't start searching for Jenise and let it go unitl dinner time, but he didn't know for 100%.

Had they called LE when she didn't show up at lunch time, they would have had several hours of daylight to search.
I feel certain the dad would have called and asked him if he had seen Jenise. He probably said yea I seen her today.
To buy more time. I hate that they waited until dark to call.

I want tobknow wherebhe was all day Sunday!

Your post made me wonder if GG was actually one of the "witnesses" who claimed to have seen her Sunday.

"He said he has forgiven the 17-year-old neighbor arrested on suspicion of the killing. He is taking the steps to heal and is leaning on his faith in Jesus. But without the other kids — ages 8, 12 and 16 — in the house, the healing won’t start."

******************************************

"James said he could not talk directly about Gaeta, as it is an active criminal investigation, but said that he has forgiven him.

“How am I going to be in His grace if I don’t forgive?” said James Wright, who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. “I know my Father loves me, and he loves my children, and he wants us to be happy.”

“Gabe was tempted by the fallen. With the free will given by our Father, he chose wrong,” James said. “I’ve already forgiven him.”

Someone 16 could make their own choice, I would think. Strange. jmo

Yes. I do believe this is more involved than GG got a wild haor and raped killed an innocent 6 yo. I can't put it together, but I am trying!

There is someone else involved, somewhere. I can't firgure out who or why. jmo

I am agreeing with you on the 2nd possible perp. I wondered initially if it were a group of 'kids' partying and she stumbled across them. That does not seem to be the case. But I'm also relying on a ' rumor ' and wondering if he and another neighborhood 'kid' planned this loosely. Or they made comments and talked about it while kid no. 2 thought ' yea yea, whatever, dude, you're crazy' , but just went along with it ONLY in the talking stage . Kid no 2 did not ever think anything would come of it so he just thought of it as idle chat and GG"s kooky but probably not really planning to do anything. So these 2 are seen around town , chatting up the girls, regardless of their age and on this night/ day GG says ' yes lets do that now' and kid 2 is like " he** no, are you insane ?'' But GG follows through . ** Speculative 100% **

ETA I do not have any clue who imaginary Kid No 2 might be. I haven't sleuthed or looked into it at all, just speculating out loud.

ETAx 2 I'm not saying I think or feel this happened ^^^. But I would not be surprised if something along these lines happened. mooo

Yes I guess you are right. Personally I would need to know way more history and info. I haven't been on here that long, so I guess I am just not used to limited info assessments. But, I guess it is like any other area of a crime that is hypothesized on here ie) using limited info to deduct motive, assess who could be the possible perp etc. (saying this in a positive manner). :)

Since he was heavily into sports, I bet he had extra clothes in one of the vehicles in another gym bag. When my kids were tweens and teens, they always kept spare clean clothes in the car.
I also wonder what's up with did someone you know recently discard some of value or something that was old and favorite??? What did they recover?
A sweatshirt with his name???

There is a show on netflix, ID's "Real Interrogations", or something like that, for anyone who is interested.

Thanks, I just added it to my que! I don't get I.D. with my cable package so I love it that Netflix has added a lot of their shows!

Good questions. You just made me wonder if any of the 3 vehicles have been returned to the family. I think once the testing is done on the vehicles and they release those findings, a big piece of the puzzle will emerge. I wonder how the parents are getting around town if they have no vehicles. Forced to just sit in the house and go stir crazy with all of this. I'm really sad for his mom. I'm sad for all involved and primarily J's family, of course. But having a son a little older than him, I"m also sick to think of what his mom must be thinking.

I was thinking of his mom + dad too. It is horrible for his Mom and all involved. She may have not done all things right but none of us do and then out of the blue, the kid turns into Jason from the horror movie Halloween.

People are cruel sometimes and unfortunately some of the local public will lash out at the parents of the boy too. It is horrible and she is as shocked as anybody else.

I pray for all involved and am so glad we here at WS talk about everything and recognize the true criminal in all of this and pretty much everybody else is a victim of his doings. I pray for the entire town.

it was dated same day aug 6 = when he was too upset to talk to LE or do a swab but we have photo evidence he was ''functioning''KWIM

Very disturbing. What happened to too traumatized to give DNA to the LE ?

Just gotta say Jason's a cakewalk compared to this kid. Through a dozen movies, the world's most 'well known' serial killer never raped anyone and never killed a baby :(

you could be onto something : either they (LE) found a valuable (trendy) piece of teenage clothing OR?

just based on the fact that so much mud was involved etc that a ''conscientious'' parent would notice that part of their kid's normal apparel was missing -- clearly GG family didn't come forward with that bit did they...denial or CYA don' t know

It was a bit easier to get caught up today (I'm so grateful for those overnight thread closures, by the way, it gives little old me in the UK a chance to gain some ground!)

A few comments:

- I'm not at all sold on any mental health problems (other than what he may have already been taking medication for). That whole snotty nose thing in the interview room just seems like a half-arsed attempt to avoid answering difficult questions.

- I don't see drugs/steroids being a factor here either. I'm just not getting that vibe at all.

- Re: his social media. I know some of it looks pretty bad (particularly the site we shall not speak of) but I'm not reading too much into that. In the last year or so I came across an online journal of mine from when I was 17-18 (I've only just stopped cringing now) and some of the comments I made in an attempt to be witty or silly could be taken VERY badly if I'd then gone on to be arrested. Many of his comments sound a lot like my nieces and nephews on social media these days too. He's obviously a monster, but I just can't use his SM comments as strong evidence of that.

The only explanation I can think of about not washing the clothing.... either to keep as a memory type thing, or he had no clue how to use the washing machine.

I needed some lightheartedness after making it through the thread, so I did have a bit of a LOL at the mental image of him standing staring blankly at the washing machine... (probably with snot running down his face too). Thanks for that!

he was being observed ((moo)) and his inconsistencies were noted by the FBI behavioral experts

I was thinking about the and/or duffle bag statement.
The big problem is they called it an accessory... Is a wrestler's duffle bag or personalized t-shirt an accessory?

that was same day ''found him too traumatized to get out of his bed with his back against the wall'' female parent said could you come back later
same day female parent & GG filmed by news media same day GG photographed playing with dog
I think he was mimicking what he saw when his mother experienced the death of her sister 2 yrs earlier. It would also explain why it didn't raise any red flags with her. jmo

Why would they say that without something of significance?
